@KongoXIIV I've put my bass through an axe fx, it had literally no depth and practically no low end. why you would record that is definitely beyond me. When i say sansamp, i mean the likes of the PSA1.1 or the RBI drivers. not that crappy DI box.

For your information, i infact use a Spector legend classic 5 string, i wouldn't neccesarily call it a "rookie" bass.
