they need to go to north side of iraq and develop some hip hop and bboying down there too. i already did my part and im going back there build up a bigger gym for all the bodybuilders. and fitness figures inshallah.. Iraqi Lebanese Syrian for life.
one more thing.. hiphop el lebnene as i see it resembles the muslim arab feature of lebanon and excludes the maronite lebanese feature from it.. according to this clip, i for example dont feel represented as lebanese :S
I haven't listened to alot of Lebanese HipHop bands , but the ones I heard , none of them emcee about religions or whatsoever , trust me in Lebanon , there is no racism over culture or religion , what's happening now is only a political matter.Peace
Not all hip-hip is lal nawar, lol. The modern american hip hip rap is garbage because their lyrics are about drugs, money, and ho's. But when you got something to rap about, in this case for Lebanese it's our culture and the wars we've been through. The lyrics are meaningful and appropriate.
some of those guys look pretty americanized- are you all born and raised in lebanon or the listed prospective countries? i've never seen hip hop kids in lebanon! i'm in beirut this summer and would love to know about any shows or parties- thanks! peace
When I was in Lebanon this summer I was in the daya2h, the area in the Beirut suburbs that was hit hard during the war last year. Their was a cafe I wen't to every week and some guys that showed up would do a rap for us. They didn't speak much english bas they had some good lyrics.

We had them recorded for a long ass time but never put it out, and stop producing, but this year we go get bac on this shit ya know what im sayin. Memphis 10, u kno we in...
Jah Bless the Hip Hop hitting over there. From the Birth of hip hop in the south bronx with black power to the middle east where there is real wars and hate and crime on a BIGGER scale..Hopfully this black music we call hip hop can unite the arabs in the middle east and decades from now hip hop becomes the answer to all hate and negetivity in the world...The only critisizim was that chick with that bulls jersy acting like she is from chi town..other than that, much repect.
