@77danigga More than half of today's players could not play like a man in the physical games of this era. Who cares about dunks. MJ is a better dunker than either those guys, and the defensive intensity was so high in this series that he rarely had the opportunity to do it.

NBA players can't do anything today..even the slightest touch is a foul..back then people were getting pushed..karate kicked on dunks and nothing was called. NBA basketball during the 80's and 90's is nothing like todays soft NBA rules.

This can't be the NBA. I don't see any tattoos, or fashionable band aids and all the players can actually formulate a sentence and don't just say "you know" and "know what I'm sayin'". They also are not pulling guns out in the locker room over a card game. These reasons above are exactly why you would see a flagrant on X-man and a Tech on MJ. its a shame I guess they dont want these guys pulling out guns and shooting each other today but its ajoke you got away with so much more and even hand checking was around untill the knicks deaded that. But flagrants are to tough and noone will put a guy on his ass quick how Oakley and a few others would do almost every game..not dirty just good hard ass fouls that has to be part of the game and is ruining the integrity of the play on the court.Also zone defense is killing the game for me,

The Knicks were also a good offensive team by todays standards. Look at the good ball movement. Basketball at its peak.

MJ's Jumpshot form between 1991-1993 is absolutely unmatchable. You can see it here. He is getting up there around 2-feet & than loading for the jump shot. Love that right handed rebound & left handed putback score in traffic. That Pip to MJ alleyoop dunk is unmatchable. Notice, how MJ sets Wilkins up & then pulls his hand so quickly where referees cannot even get a visual. MJ had all the tricks of the trade. He put to test in this grueling 7 games epic series topping off with superhuman 42 pts.

Great great game. saw it live. Imagine, Kobe playing in this era. He'll struggle to score 15 points at some 4 for 20 shooting. This was a true defense then. full court press. full court handchecking. absolutely no easy basket. hard rough fouls. MJ went thru them all & thats why he is by FAR the GOAT. Kobe shouldn't even be mentioned in same breath with extremely limited skills & talent compared to GOAT. MJ forever man.
