  • These old cartoons are so humorous!

  • I LOVE animated lions.

  • @raenBow27 If so, I say you are a fan of Kimba the white lion.

  • oh wow, i havent seen this cartoon like ever!! why isnt disney making these kind of awsome cartoons anymore? are the makers of these genius retired or something?

  • hahahaha i like it yet!!!!!!! omg miss when i'm kid

  • This is an accurate description of how New Yorkers treat people from Africa

  • nyc hasnt changed

  • @rickardo004 I don't doubt that. And I hear you can eat the air over there.

  • Love the character design.

    Oh, and.. 2:02 - PWND.

  • Why would the lion need a bridge?

    Suicide?

  • @Exkild To get home, maybe? don't know

  • Much better then todays cartoons. Still, they depict a lion loving to be in the zoo rather then in his natural habitat thus making children not arguing over having animals locked up. "The lion said himself he loves the zoo, lets lock up more animals mommy". The same twisted reality that cartoons have always depicted rather then making facts more fun

  • @Weekist I think the lion is part of an allegory on the black man, who currently lives in the great zoo that is the USA. Not exactly a natural habitat, either

  • they racist! look and listen to the africans, other than that i love buena vista productions

  • @Christionjh not really 'racist' it was a portrayal of a different culture. If there was a cartoon with lip liped, big boobed, high maintenance white women running around Orange County, would that be racist ?

  • @rickardo004 I don't ever recall high-maintainence white women from the OC being employed as a harmful stereotype by an oppressive majority who wanted to use such images to convince people that these white women should stay segregated.

In fact, I do recall many big-lipped stereotypical portrayals of people being employed for that very purpose, but they weren't white.

And I've never seen a black man with big, worm-like lips that overtake half of his face. "Portrayal of another culture" my foot.

  • MY WIFE!!! Dude that was awesome!!!!!

  • 5:20 - OUCH!

  • This was way before Alex The Lion in "Madagascar"!

  • I just love the way nothing has to so super animated so you can see how the wind hits each crease in the clothes to be good.

A simple swinin' tail on the way to The Jungles Fine Food is all that's needed to make a lion fantastic :) 50's cartoons were amazing

  • i love cartoons

  • like it

  • so racist

  • this is not racist, wake up

  • Legalize marijuana ! ! !

  • poor thing :( 4:57

  • that guy at 3:33 reminds me of zazu from the lion king Broadway

  • i think it's cute easy to watch

    good for kids

  • u are right. good for kids.

  • @LEAELLA7 i loved what you said, great for kids.

  • These cartoons are genius. Much better I say than today.

  • I agree

  • @Midala87

It's kinda funny how I keep people saying that with every classic cartoon or movie I watch. It's true, but it makes me wonder why no producers ever notice or do anything about it.

  • @Midala87 Agreed! I prefer celluloid animation over computer animation.

  • Were those the Goofy intro and outro themes?

  • no thats the way it was back in them years
