I didn't see any of the Glados-bird-potato thing when I played. Didn't even known about it. I portal-jumped directly to the landing platform, landing on top of it. Thought that was just the way you did it, then ended the level.

Luckily, the game automatically gave me the potato at the start of the next level.

What this also means is, Chell and Alyx may well work together in a future Valve game and there may be time travel involved in the game.

I'm taking the effort to whrite because sharing is caring and essential to science.

I figure Chell has put herself into the turret in the future and sent the turret back to aid her past self.

Considering Chell did well on the "Bring your daughter to work day" (created the hude mutant potato), and that there is also a project by "Alix" (Alyx Vance, most likely,. Chell and Alyx may meet in the future as old friends and figure out time-traveling. Time-traveling has been done in Half-Life 2, accidentally during a teleportation scene, so it is very possible.

JESUS. CHRIST. Valve is awesome. In the early stages of the game Wheatley said: "Whatever you do, don't make eye contact with it" to the turret (the "I'm dirrefent" turret) that was in a tube. In this episode Cave Johnson said: "Don't make eye contact with your future self".

The turret says stuff that a prophet could say; or someone that were from the future ("It will not be enough" and "The answer lies beneath us". (cont)
