@florisbeek becaus once you start making more and more then your loose your sence of a good game an just start to repeat yourself. i mean, look at Call of Duty now. all people buy it for is the multiplayer and the story line is messed up and far 2 short. i beat Modern Warfare 2 in like 5 hours... were as it took me about 4 days to completely run thru AC1 and now that theyve added a multiplayer part of the game i just hope they dont abandon the story mode of the game. if you know what i mean.

In the presentation they said that there have been previous Mayan calendars, and that the end of a calendar marks the beginning of a celebration, not the end of the world. No Mayan has ever predicted the end of the world- they just never made a new calendar after this recent one.

I went to a presentation about the Mayan calendars. In the presentation they said that there have been previous Mayan calendars, and that the end of a calendar marks the beginning of a celebration, not the end of the world. No Mayan has ever predicted the end of the world- they just never made a new calendar after this recent one.

Mayans and Sumarians existed a LONG time before Jesus Christ was even born, so no there is not 989 years left. End of Mayan Calender (and the supposed planets' 3000 year orbit) is Dec 21st 2012.

why refer this to the mayan calandar so quickly? maybe ABSTERGO is launching a rocket containing that orb to fly in low orbit and control eveything (ppls minds). I read it in an email on lucy's computer to (I think) the remaining Assasins. It wouldmake sense because she asked for rescue and assasins tried to save you, yet failed at it. The markings were written in subject 16's blood. It says so in AC1 and in AC2 subject 16 says "Lucy, I'm ready to go... She sees me raise the knife" Thats him slashing his wrists to write the messages. And the reason desmond can see it with eagle vision, is that 16 also had "The gift", so his blood "Stayed there"

This isn't a secret at all, once you leave the animus the last time before the game actually ends you experience the bleeding effect for the first time and go into eagle vision automatically. Once you look at the pictures in the bedroom then you get an achievement and that's it.

The Mayans said that after their 3000 year calender, it will reset to 0 and will begin a new era of human conciousness, meaning humans will start to rapidly evolve. Both Mayans and Sumarians are very similar in this aspect. the 3000 year orbit and the 3000 year Mayan calender could NOT be a coincidence, they were both on 2 extreme points of the planet.
Sumarians also told the story of Adam and Eve, of Noah's Ark, and many other biblical stories, 3000 years BEFORE the bible existed.

@OBMify in 2012, one of 3 things will likely happen. 1: the world ends, we all die and then something else happens, 2: it will be as if we were reborn, our memories of this life wiped and our race will turn into something different, which is what euro said shortened down to a large extent, or 3: nothing will happen, and our lives will continue normally as they have been for the last 2012 years. 3 i believe is most likely. i know a lot more could happen, but this is just things i think.

The Mayans never said Dec 21st 2012 was a bad date, i studied the Mayans a lot since about a decade ago and i can tell you that they werent predicting the end of the world. They were experts in mathematics and astrology. There are the Mayans and the Sumarians (ancient Iraq, the first civilization on the planet). the Sumarians said that our 'parents' are from a planet who has an orbit of roughly 3000 years, Mayan calender is roughly 3000 years long also.........
