So you read a couple of books of G or been to a couple of groups? your level of understanding and vanity shines through your posts, more so the fact that you made them in the first place...lmao. Arrogance. What are you trying to prove(to yourself) ?
wow...I don't have the program notes, don't know what these two represent...but I can imagine the Black as the fast-pace movement of this world; the media, pollution, pop culture, the invasion of human to the earth, Practicality...at the meantime the White resembles the Truth, the Will (if you must go philosophical), the fate lies ahead and stays unknown but clear to see...maybe he could add a third for the "in-between", for everything else that's neither black or white...this is inspiring!
wow, I love the first piece, I'm producing a feature film call "In Absolute stillness" you can watch a little preview with the same name, I would love to use a piece of your work.
Es bello cuando miramos los incontables movimientos que podemos desarrollar teniendo la disciplina y sintiendo con ello que además somos participes de un universo, dentro y entorno, moviendoce.
now i am wanting to see the entire dance.. seems like he goes from being to doing, while the faceless she holds the space so he can go explore his absolute zero.. it was the music that attracted me to this video, glad i came. nicely done
Check out the "Absolute Zero" Teshigawara / Karas CD ... which documents the connections between Teshigawara and some other artists (Superfluid, Biosphere, Zoviet France, Monolake, Hallucinator, Jiri Ceiver, Disinformation, Hazard, Gescom etc)
Lot of modern western coreographs are deeply impressed by the work of Teshigawara in their own work. He is so talented, so much braking every rule of classical balett, his dancing touches even the air which starts singing. TY so much for sharing this!
Either "Thomas de Hartmann" or "Ärvo Part", not sure..but it could be neither of the two, sorry :o) Yet, if u like this kind of music ceck them out, u won´t be disappointed. If someone else know 4 sure, please let me know.thnx
So sorry, I pressed the wrong thumb!I know about Pa-Kua and I´ve done Tai-Chi,I recognize exactly what u say, I use the same concept in my performances.I apologize again 4 the mistake.
who know, he doesn't seem to be related to the movements otherwise he wouldn't have been too mechanical. His dance is far form being part of Gurdjieff's movements. The only things related to G. are the music and the word "absolute" beyond that ,he is just an ordinary contemporary dancer.
you under estimate him, it looks like you don't know his work, he's far of being just an ordinary contemporary dancer, he's a great choreographer and "metteur en scene" too, shouldn't judge by this...check "luminous"
mmmm... Well Thanks for the information. But I still think contemporary is not good. It feels to what we call contemporary dance today is going through what in the architectural real is known as the international style or the modernist movement that came around the 1920's and 1930's. They both try to depart from the old norms which is alright, but not my taste. Any ways in comment below I used the word ordinary in the sense of "The forth way" ideas. Sorry for confusions.

Only the music has something to do with Gurdjieff.
The rest is subjective dancing with imagination.
