  • Well i don't have the guts cause A) I be drunk myself or for some reason i'm in one of my I don't give a damn or in my risk taking moods and if my friend is driving i mess with the wheel a little bit just to scare her. B) We both drink in the car but not enough to be considered intoxicated. A bit stupid i know. lol

  • @keshalashay It's a big mistake

  • I was in a minor accident with an intoxicated driver. On mother's day.. lol... BOY was mum pissed.. anyways, I told them to let me out, and they raged a bit and floored it and went too fast around a corner... be careful the way you say shit..

  • @eviltoast765 Well, I hope you nevergot into a car wit them again

  • I love that at this point in time it was before christmas and there's people playing frisbee on the beach! It's sunny, looks warm, brilliant!

I know it's a climate thing, but it looks a lot better than the bleary weather that we get year in year out.

Does it get boring having that weather/climate all the time?

I think more people listen to you than others might think.. Words get around.

  • We do have very beachy weather at christmas

  • @AngryAussie

I get the feeling you have beachy weather all the time though.

  • I dared not even to get a licence to drive, don't want to anticipate in the car/oil/benzine scam wrapping half the world in asphalt... Irie 2010 peeps

  • ummmm OK then

  • Mate.... Wow thats an awesome idea. Honestly if more people actually listened to what your saying it would make a huge change. Sadly most people think to have a good time they need to be drunk, which doesnt help you at all lol. But you go to me even though i dont drink. Thanks =]

  • With any luck someone will listen

  • Thats a bloody good message mate, i have the job of cutting people out of cars when they crash and it's pretty shit at times to see wasted life. If this message only saves one life it's worked mate.

  • I hope things aren't to bad for you this holiday season

  • as i have recently started driving cabs i throw my heartfelt plea behind AA's meaning - if for no other reason than the time it takes to scrape you off the road really gives me time to be violently ill and makes my customers complain about the fare.......:p

  • You'd see a lot of idiocy as a cabbie

  • i think most people wont even listen to this, its truth and people should listen etc. but you know sometime you cant say no and sometime you dont want to say no so thats why i think its completely useless but i like it - the idea

  • Next time, I promess I'll have the guts.

    Thank you, you hit me.

  • I hope the message reaches a few people who need it

  • That's a real challange. We definately need more of those!

  • I hope a few people listen

  • good on ya auzzie

  • Cheers

  • Done that a few times angry. I have seen enough bad stuff in vehicles to know I dont want to be another notch in the road tolls belt

  • Good for you

  • good message. I lost a few friends from car wrecks, both drunk and not..

and mad props on calling me out on this shit, cuz I've been in situations where a friend is driving like a retard and i wanted to speak up and never said anything.. nothing came of it, but I will accept your Angry Aussie challenge! See ya next year niccup!

  • It's really hard to do

  • lol i did this last night

  • Good work!

  • I actually had to do that a couple of times already. Great video & challenge accepted!

    Happy Holidays from Greece!

  • Good to hear!

  • I would im not risking my fucking life!

  • Good for you

  • Happy Holidays to you Andrew :)

    Great message , Dare Accepted.

Does this mean, if i complete it, i get to dare you to do something? :)

  • No, you get to keep on living.

  • Wow, what a great video, and a great message. The beauty about this video message is that it is so so true, stand up to your friends and stand up for your right to live this festive season. Good on you Angry, good on you!

  • It's a tough lesson to learn but sometimes you gotta do it

  • Great Message for the youngsters!

Hell great message for the adults as well!

    Happy holidays my friend!

  • Happy holidays to you and yours!

  • Very good advice Angryaussie, I'm glad to see you're spreading such an important message

  • I hope a few people listen

  • I had to last night. My sister was drinking, and I told her to fuck off =D

  • Good for you

  • Comment removed

  • it's hard to say that, but cause all my mates are cheapskates i just quote the fine and they slow the fuck down very quickly. but tailgating someone badly when your car is worth like 900bucks is a different story, you never see people getting fined for that, so thats when i remind my friends to "back the fuck off your brakes are made of cheese, their rear bumper is worth more than your car."

  • That sounds like good advice

  • good message mate. keep it up!

  • Cheers mate

  • thank you Angry Aussie mate! your one of the few people out their that gives a shit!

drunk drivers are wankers who dont give a damn about any one else when they get behind the wheel of a car/truck/motorbike/lamma

  • I do indeed give a shit - I'd like my subscribers to stay alive

  • Don't Aussies love a challenge just lucky with my job all the noobs are gone but yeah in my younger years we did some stupid stuff like happy hour runs between pubs and see how many we can do in one night but that was beack in the days before RSA.

  • I figured making it a dare might work

  • I have already done this with my husband...(when we were dating) I flat told him that I WILL DRIVE when he is drinking, and then did the same thing with my now father-in-law....did not go over well, but I drove, and so here we are!

Oh yeah, love the sun and beach!!!!!!!

  • That's the way to go!

  • i did this last day of school. I get a driver to school who has been driving me for 2 years now. He always speeds and 2 weeks ago i told him to stop the f**king car, i got out and walked to school. Was late but at least i got out :P

  • That took guts! Well done.

  • I remember the time I was the most scared in a car. The stupid driver was speeding in a snow storm and braking with the handbrake everytime he started skidding (ie, at every intersection). I'd never go in a car with him again, even in summer!

  • Good for you!

  • I would have liked to take the challenge, but i have no chance to, because i`m rarely with drunk people anyway. I hope i never have to tell anyone how stupid they are, but i would if i had to.

  • It isn't easy to do

  • good vid mate...here here.....

  • Cheers mate

  • Hey man im living in ireland and just subscribed. I shall take the challange!

  • Cheers and welcome aboard

  • Woot! Under 25's! XD yeah, i know a person who died in a car crash.

drunk boyfriend driving + drunk girl (her) + no seatbelt (her) + sitting in front passenger seat + looking for a CD at her feet (head near dash) + parked truck + crash into corner of truck (her side of car)

= sadness, boyfriends's self hatred, mother severely depressed.

The ironic thing about this is that she pushed her friend out of the way to get into the front seat. Sad.

KEEP SAFE EVERYONE! Not just for yourself!

  • It's a challenge for everyone

  • @MADMANx511 What's so sad about a stupid person getting themselves killed? That's right - nothing.

  • Wow. You didn't even know her you uncaring bitch. Just leave your bitchy little rude comments to yourself. You are really a soulless, heartless bitch. No wonder this world is falling appart. People like you who have the mentality of "only care for yourself and fuck the rest" Please, just piss the fuck off... bitch.

  • Blow it out your ass.

  • good work man way too many of us know someone who died due to drunk driver. especially bad in cold places- ice/snow doesnt mix with pissed up late night festive drivers. maybe they should think about subsidizing taxis during the festive season or something..

  • That's a damn good idea

  • OUTSTANDING VIDEO......

  • Thanks!

  • I have few friends I trust enough to let get behind the wheel when im in the car, and tehy're only the friends who I tell the truth to regardless of how much it hurts, so your challange doesn't seem that difficult to me.

  • Many people find it extremely difficult

  • Cool

  • Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • good message.

  • I hope people listen

  • that's why I wanna always drive my car!

  • Then it's up to you to be the responsible one

  • I am mate ;)

  • Challenge accpeted. Though, for a bunch of young people, my friends and I are fairly safe drivers. There's been ice and snow on the ground here for three days and I haven't driven my car AT ALL. Stupid fucking ice.

  • Careful on that ice!

  • On the note of driving.. I just turned 16 on thanksgiving.. kind of a shitty time to get your license.. especially because of the snow I get here anyway on the subject.. I doubt I can complete your challenge because I don't drive with my friends anyway and I don't drink at all so I'm not around drunk people.. so sorry but I guess it's a good thing anyway right?

  • Something to keep in mind

  • Awesome message, topped with the legend "I enjoy yelling things" t-shirt :D Good on ya, Aussie!

  • I do enjoy it ;)

  • I did it once on Halloween night on a country road. He was going 70mph in a 40 zone, at night. I told him to slow down a couple of times but he wouldn't listen. Since then, I have not been a passenger in his car, and he has had three collisions since; all of which were his fault. Now, when he rides with me, a person who is strict with the speed limit and rules of all sorts, he pokes fun at me. I am really reconsidering letting him into my car at all.

  • I would totally disassociate myself from someone like that

  • friends....?

    what are they?

    lol xD

  • Have a good one

  • I've done it despite the difficulty. But at this point in my life I could care less. If they decide not to talk to me because I stand up for myself then I have one thing to say: Have a nice life.

Also you keep mentioning how how the comments are all fucked. I'm sure you've noticed the "work around" they have for it and it's majorly lame and lazy.

  • I'm not sure what you mean but they have done nothing in 4 years to fix the main problem with the comment system

  • Oh no, they didn't fix shit, they just added an "@ [username]" to the replies. Lamest solution ever.

  • Great video mate. It is indeed a tough thing to do, coming from a 20yo.

  • I know it can be very hard to do

  • Mmm good message.

  • Thanks

  • nice video mate

    good message

  • Cheers

  • Great work AngryAussie, So very true. I had 2 family members killed car accidents over the last 2 years.

Those who argue the video are obviously just trolls yet I bet they heard the message.

Quote for the trolls from this video "By an idiot who cannot think 30 seconds into the future" - Think about it :)

    Great work AngryAussie!

  • Thanks! I hope someone listens

  • Take ya hat off, get some sun dick head.

  • You go right ahead and get cancer you fucktard. I doubt anyone will miss you.

  • ..would have to be a "bruce" wouldnt it! You got any idea how much UV is down there?!

  • Very good message, it is definitely important that your having fun without the dangers of it.

  • I hope a few people listen.

  • Actually you're right Mr A. I don't have the guts to tell my friend they're driving like an idiot. But at last they don't drive drunk, because it has a huge penalty, why else?

  • It can be quite difficult to do

  • I've been in a car with someone who was being a speed/adrenaline junkie. I got uncomfortable when he pushed the 110 speed limit on the highway. I asked him to slow down and he didn't. I called my dad and you know what? He called a friend who works as a police officer and was BY chance on the highway we were on. I caught a lift home with the cop and my friend got fined for speeding. I'd rather him get fined than crash. I completed Angry Aussie's challange/dare and will continue to do so.

  • I'm a learner driver, there are only three p-platers that I will trust. And I am very very close friends with them, I know their parents well and did go driving with them while they were on their L's. Otherwise, I'd rather my parents pick me up.

No matter what, even if its an emergency you should NEVER speed, DUI or use drugs then drive. May seem bullshit to some people but I'll be pointing and laughing saying I told you so when your on your death bed in ICU.

    TBC

  • I hope a few people heed the message

  • one time i was on a 4 wheeler with my friend, i told him to eff himself and i got off cause he was being dumb, as soon as i got off he tried to be cool and did something dumb and wrecked, glad i had the foresight

  • Good work!

  • Challenge accepted, only because we don't like the person (who is a chronic speed head and I don't mean drugs).

  • They need to be told

  • Have great chistmas Aus and thanks for a years worthof great videos :)

  • Thanks for tuning in!

  • Cheers

  • Let's hope people listen!

  • I don't drink and drive I don't even go in the car if I think the driver is drunk. I won't even get in the car with a drunk driver when I'm drunk. ( And yes that did happen to me once. )

  • There's speeding and plain old stupidity as well

  • Hey Angry, what's your position on vblogging while driving?

  • Depends on what you do

  • I appreciate you putting this challenge forth. I truly hope EVERYONE, not just young kids, think about the option and do get out.

  • It really does apply to everyone although young folk are at the most risk

  • This is a great PSA, AA.

44,757 deaths a year in the US alone (excluding motorcycles)

  • Yep, people need to wake up

  • never really a problem im gonna have but good on ya for trying ta help all the same.....btw its days away from christmas and you guys are still able ta hit the beach and catch some sun lol....does it snow in oz at all?

  • Not in the middle of summer

  • lol love your shirt

  • Me too

  • I TOO ENJOY YELLING THINGS

  • It's enjoyable

  • Well none of the friends Im hanging around with during the break this year can drive so.... im good, ima stick to the side walks

  • Stay safe

  • I hope I don't have to prove it at all, honestly.

  • I hope so too

  • i usually don't hang around with the type of crowd that would drink. either for safety/ethical reasons i don't care. hanging with the type that is prone to get drunk and drive is like joining the army without realizing the risk.

  • It isn't just drinking, it's speeding and stupid behaviour too

  • I'd actually do that, the thing is, I don't have a learners yet and my parents (if they do, cause I like to walk everywere) have to take physicals for their job which my dad is the owner. So I don't have to worry about the SADD as much as everyone else does. :/ <3

  • It's a good thing to do

  • I have zero sympathy for drunks or drunk drivers.

The one time somebody asked me to be sympathic to one such person, I flipped a bitch.

  • You should have no sympathy for them

  • Number one problem with this challenge, if somebody is driving like an idiot, and you threaten to get out of the car, they will start driving worse in order to deliberately frighten you.

  • If those are the sort of people you hang with you need to reassess your life.

Besides, that just sounds like an excuse to not show guts.

  • This happened with me.

    I reassessed my life.

I have not gone into that persons car again.

  • Kicks of a thought trail you can link to pretty much anything, most people are like sheep though in they way that they'll go with the flow, smart move angry, i like it. :)

  • Thanks!

  • Considering I don't hang with drunkards, and those who drive me know damned well how badly I'D mess them up if they get into an accident while I'm in the car?

Sorry, AA. I have more of a chance of getting run over by the dog than being in a relevant situation for the challenge.

  • Then you are very lucky

  • None of my friends drink, we just play video games and watch anime. I liked this video though, this might actually save lives.

  • I hope it at least makes people think.

  • Most of us grow up in that area of our lives. Glad to be one of those who grew up long ago.. in that area I mean..!

Well said mate. Wish every1 a safe and smart one.

  • I hope everyone takes care of themselves and others this xmas!

  • I always make sure the designated driver is a non drinker, and I generally just dont go out during this season, cause there are too many morons on the road in the first place.

  • That's a good plan

  • You forgot to mention that the car should be stopped before getting out. I'll never make that mistake again I tell ya!

(Do you keep unsubscribing me from you or something as this is the third time I've had to resubscribe??? Just block and get it over and done will ya Andrew!!!)

  • hahahahahha take the bloody hint mate!

  • It's a really good point. Neither me nor the majority of my friends drive, so I don't really have to worry about it (especially since I'll be at home with my folks for Christmas), but yes, in the past I've been in the car with some pretty hectic drivers, and never done anything about it. I've come close, but you're right, I've never had the guts.

  • It takes quite a bit of guts to do

  • Especially when if you DO get out of the car, you've got no other way to get home. Awkward.

  • Idiots are the reason no one(at least no one I know) can enjoy the holiday season.

  • This is true

  • good words AA i totally agree i dont tolerate fuckwits on the road riding a motorbike and i have done this once or twice before but i know someone who did this (she was the only drunk one in the car) she pulled the hand brake (on ice cause she thought 10 mph was too fast) and wrote the car off so another tip is any people who have drank should only be in the back of the car so they cannot mess with any controles or distract the driver.

  • Drunk people should sit down and shut up

  • i've done that before. i walked home like 4 miles away from town

  • Well done

  • he was like 19 but still in high school the funny part is that his younger brother already graduated.

  • yea take charge of your life and don't get in the car with crazy drivers. That's why i don't like letting my bro drive me.

  • Time to take charge!

  • Excellent video. Not very many youtubers make holiday videos about these kinds of things. It's a good change. By the way what ever happened to the 8 hour video? Did you give up? Quitter! Ah ha just kidding!

  • I'm waiting for my broadband to get upgraded to try again

  • Awesome I hope it workes. I crossing my fingers for you!

  • i dont drink anyhoo, im a better person for it.

  • Good for you

  • I've done some stupid shit in the past and it is hard to say no to some of my bros but now I can. That and I've cut out a lot of moronic friends so my risk of doing stupid shit is at least slightly brought down (there still the shit I get myself into on acceident). So ha! I already beat the challenge before issued!...Sort of.

  • It can be a very difficult thing to do

  • Great video. Valid point and challenge.

Btw, I'm going to Aussie land at the end of march. Looking forward to your weather, just snowed here...bur. =]

  • It should be cooling down in March

  • None of my friends are dumb enough to drink and drive, so I don't foresee having to deal with this problem.

  • Good friends

  • i dont really ride with my friends i get my mom to drive me until i get my liscense and even after that id have to buy myself a car and based on how well i save money ill be lucky if i have car by the time im 20 unless its an old junker that constantly breaks down
