And we need a PhD to explain this to us? Of course the dude in the store wanted to pork the girl and the people on the line allowed the older person to cut ahead. I can't believe that a guy had to write a book about this behavior to "help people".
My brother took my Mom to a show and a night at a five star hotel in Toronto once as a gift. Mom will talk to anyone, and she apparently listened to the concierge's life story as they were waiting for a cab. Later that year, she sent the concierge a Christmas card with a note enclosed, asking about his family and such. I took her to the same hotel two years later for Mother's Day, and the concierge not only recognized her, he couldn't do enough for her.
@silentfades She truly is, thanks. She is one of the world's great listeners, and as long as I can remember she's made casual remarks like "Oh, please remember Charlie Smith in your prayers" and I'd reply "Who?" "Charlie, deli clerk at Value Market. His mother had a stroke, and he's very worried about her." Her concern is always genuine, not meant to curry favor, but nevertheless Charlie still gave her 2 lbs. of lunch meat for the price of a pound and a half. :)
well Adam is definately smart but he had no competition. the good looking ones where just... stupid, with low motivation.. the real world has smart good looking ppl, smart as adam and good looking as, even better than those two.
wonder how Adam scored a part in this show, why did NBC pick him instead of the million other lawyers in NY?!

Adam is the man. Men with brains are the most attractive to me. I do not think he is bad looking either. I hope he wins.
