  • TAE KWON DO !

  • bah this is a smear video uploaded by karate association to make taekwondo look inferior. brainwashing propaganda!

  • The taekwondo guy would have kicked karate guy's ass if he uses spinning roundhouse kick and 540 kicks. There are many taekwondo techniques he didn't use! and who says taekwondo don't punch? As far as i know there are powerful punching techniques in taekwondo as well. This fight doe not justify karate is superior than taekwondo.

  • There is no better style, only better martial artists... and remember... there will always be someone better than you, and that alone should drive you to improve and perfect your skill. Taekwondo means the art of hand and foot, but is kicking dominant, presenting its own pros and cons, same as Karate with more focused kicks and strikes to the body. Both have pros and cons, but in the end, it's the fighter... not the style...

  • TKD isnt for fighting like shit like karate or kung fu, its about discipline and respect, also TKD started 1500years ago and TKD is in the olympic games but karate or kung fu isnt

  • @MangoBeer that's funny, Taekwondo focus more on kicking which happens to be way more powerful than punch, considering the fact you use the strongest part of your body.

  • @MangoBeer fuck you!!!,the founder of teakwondo was a karate black belt and learnt shotokan karate from gishin funakoshi.his brother was a founder of kyokushinkai karate,Mas Oyama..!!! ..its not 1500 years...!!damn you motherfucker..!!!ignorant fool!!!

  • poor taekwondo fighter just have no chance to win

  • I just proved to my bf that karate is better -.-

  • The taekwondistas are delicated and weak, the taekwondo is useless in a fight. The Karatecas harden the body and have mortal punches because punch and punch, have much training in Makiwara.

  • being a TaeKwonDo player isnt suck. it depends to the person how will use his martial arts. and all martial arts is not same in every way, like taekwondo and karate, so dont compare both of them, they have different ways in martial arts so its not suck if your taekwondo player or karate.

  • If this is the real fight, the taekwondo guy will get killed.

  • I'M A FUCKIND TAE KWON DO GUY AND I KNOW HOW TO USE MY PUNCHES

  • @TheDestructive666 if ur a taekwondo guy u suck

  • @MrSpat06 i bet a good spinning hook kick to your face wouldn't suck.

  • Comment removed

  • All martial arts are good but if the person sucks do not say is the art . It is the person like the one in this fight that sucks in tkd

  • yes WTF tkd is not made for this kind of fighting. its for the olympics. ITF is for this kind of stuff

  • WTF is most kicking, punches has been allowed in some content, but it's not smart doing it, as you need to throw so much power in it. But this TKD fighter could learn to use som blocks, and quick punches, but like his kicks :D

  • they are 2 TKD ITF they use leg and punches - WTF only legs I do Kenpo the best

  • Aff, o cara do Karatê não pode acertar socos na cara, e o do Taekwondo pode chuta na cabeça do cara. Bem justo isso --' Se fosse com as regras do Karatê, ou do K-1, teria acabado bem mais rápido

  • Taekwondo is just a sport about touching the opponent with foot. They can't tell if the kicks are effective without sensors. No damage is necessary in that sport. It's a fun sport though. Karate is a martial art. You can't compare a martial art and a sport.

  • @TheTruthonlyist Taekwondo is a martial art dumbass. We learn selfdefence and if you train Taekwondo, you do know that it is splitted in two, the competition section and the traditional. Like we can't use all of our kick in a competition match. Taekwondo is a mix of old Korean martial arts and was used to warfare. The traditional part of Taekwondo is one of the best martial arts, so don't comment anything like that before you can verify it.

  • @liank96 Just in case you didn't know, Taekwondo was established in 1955 by Choi Hong Hi who studied Karate in Japan. He emphasized only on kicks and did not practice anything else. I'd say that's just a kicking sport. Old Korean martial art - Tekkyon? No clear historical documentations about Tekkyon have been found. Used during the war? Go do some study yourself. Your opinion based on because somebody said so won't cut it.

  • @liank96 Thank You ! TKD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheTruthonlyist Try to give punch to a Taekwondo Martial Artist, they'll have a roundhouse kick to your face before that happens.

  • @Poseidon9110 I don't get it. Did you watch this video? Karate guys just puched the TKD guys out.

  • @TheTruthonlyist ok but that guy sucked, he is not a good martial artist, he one use about two kicks, he doesn't obtain the creativity for sparring, his doesn't use his skills well, seems amateur but with a True TKD martial artist the out come would definitely be different.

  • @TheTruthonlyist What's more stronger a punch or a kick? the answer is a kick, considering the fact Tae-kwon-do uses mainly legs, but in this video you clearly see that he wasnt using barely and techniques.

  • @Poseidon9110 Umm... Punches are strong enough to knock out people and a lot faster. Don't get me wrong. Kicks are strong and great. Biased focus on kicks is dumb.

  • taekwondo needs more distance to kick but karate can go punch.

  • and I meant to say about creating the distance so he could deliver his head kicks (or effective kicks).

  • taekwondo guy wasnt the smartest fighter, he needed to create distance to stay away from the body shots (that he couldnt deliver due to wtf rules), a smart wtf guy with better conditioning would have done better. I would have preferred to see an itf taekwondo fighter in there who could deliver punches

  • muay thai beat the shit out of these two

  • TKD has much much more damage than karate man...

  • The person below me is an idiot

  • why the fuck that bitch uses only hes legs?

  • @Exeven92 because it's WTF taekwondo, they don't punch

  • @Hem4fiction yes we do thank you very much if you dont no wat ur tlkin bout u should shut ur mouth :)

    <3 Jesus Freak <3

  • @JESUSlover1366 well clearly you dont do WTF taekwondo

  • @Hem4fiction yes i do thank you like i said b4 u dont n o wat ur tlkin bout so shut ur mouth :)

    <3 Jesus Freak <3

  • @JESUSlover1366 lol no you don't because WTF taekwondo do not punch. ITF can punch but not WTF.

Did you tell me to shut my mouth with a smiley face?

  • @Hem4fiction yes i do i am not stupid thank you very much unlike you :)

    <3 Jesus Freak <3

  • This is what happens when someone is taught more tools for fighting, Karate guy knew how to throw punches and the TKD didn't.

  • that high kick @ 1:24 shouldve knocked out the opponent. shows that the tkd guy doesnt kick very strong, ONLY show

  • i like judo more lol

  • Taekwondo ftw...even though tha guy iz slow....

  • @Sharif1031 way too slow, and you see it in his kicks that his hips ain't with him, no speed nor does the kicks have real power either, this guy is good, but not good enough

  • tkd guy pisses me off I am yaw yan fighter muay thai of the Philippines, I go straight for his face with a somersault, karate is like a mountain really fun to fight, tkd fighters go down easily no offense.

  • conclusion: Practice MMA

  • judo is best! (opinion) (not a fucking fact) :)

  • @TheRepublicPanda

TKD 6th Dan? You must be a fucking idiot.

6th Dan is for Karate, not TKD.

TKD is Korean. Fucking bullshitting idiot. True that TKD uses punches as well, but you sure as hell ain't practicing TKD and if you are? Tell your master to quit bullshitting you.

  • @JayteePhandango TKD has also DANs :o

  • @JayteePhandango dude you should really read some more TKD also has Dan. My sabonnim is black belt 5th Dan. i'm really sorry dude but you're just a troll :)

  • @kirby336

Koreans copy the Japanese. They always do.

  • @JayteePhandango TKD is better !

  • @JayteePhandango oh does tkd not have dans? What are the gold stripes on the black belts coz my instructors got 7 of them on each side and calls himself a 7th dan taekwondo practitioner, stop trolling.

As for the vid it seems the tkd guy is using tkd rules, karate guy is using karate rules, therefore the karate guy wins coz he can just move in close, if your opponant cant punch you then move in close, simple

  • @mrperson722

Like I said Koreans always copy Japanese. DAN is a JAPANESE term. You sure that's what Koreans call it you dumbass?

You "master" probably isn't even Korean and if he is he's probably calling it DAN because Americans are stupid.

  • @JayteePhandango yeah i agree americans are retards. I suppose your american then? what makes you think my instructor is american? hes english, and yeah I dont know what they koreans call it (though probably dan because the guy that taught my insructor was second generation korean). anyway you never made the point that koreans copied the word, you said they copy the idea of having different levels of black belt, which I dont think anyone copied from anyone.

  • @JayteePhandango Dan is a korean term just as much as japaneese....

  • so we don't go for wise open face shots?

  • actually, taekwondo was originated from karate. and karate was originated from okinawan ti and kung fu.

  • @lequiogoles funny, cause taekwondo is from old korean martial arts, mixed together from the Hwarangs!

  • @liank96 yeah,yeah.. judo is also korean. even Jesus is korean according to korean.

  • @lequiogoles didn't say that ^^ Said that Taekwondo is not Japanese, the Japanese banned Taekwondo and other korean martial arts during their occupasion of Korea

  • I hate it when TKD guys only use their kicks! A REAL practitioner would know to use his fucking punches too!

  • @TheRepublicPanda im not a taekwondo practitioner but isn't ITF meant for that?

  • @aksn00bim Meant for wut?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRepublicPanda Wow TKD if you didn't know stands for kicking and if you think im some kid that watches video and thinks there some fucking karate kid look up my dojan kim's black belt academy ok

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRepublicPanda for the record we do use punches mabe not him but we do thank you very much :)

    <3 JESUS FREAK <3

  • @JESUSlover1366 Yeah I know I've been training under a 6th Dan, that's why I said it. I'm just annoyed the majority don't I'm mean look at the beginning when the Karatka goes close up the TKD still tries to do kicks!

  • @TheRepublicPanda Isso! TDK sério tem socos! E também defesas com mãos anti-braço!

  • @TheRepublicPanda Well , TKD have not much punches, It's almost kicking.

  • @TheRepublicPanda Taekwondo is only leg techniques from taekwondo fighters and when to have their cover up, it would not give as many KO's

  • @TheSuperNaruto123 It's not just leg technique, It's a philosophy, a culture, and piece of history. And even that when you fight you have a way you fight in, but not a technique you fight in such as striking, but stopping on impact or maybe when you kick you kick with your hip and impact with your foot. And beside have you ever since a Traditional TKD practitioner elbow or punch? It's fucking deadly

  • @TheRepublicPanda Well , If it's fucking deadly why should he use it than? It's not a matter to kill.. The matter is to have a good fight and win!

  • @TheSuperNaruto123 It was an exaggeration to compliment the striking power of the upper body. I'm wasn't being literal It can definitely knock you out, but a fatality is unlikely in ANY type of martial arts. I mean don't they say an American Boxer's right hook "deadly?"

  • @TheRepublicPanda Just jealous....... A real fighter uses what he wants.... try and get near me with your punch when my foot is in your face...

  • @YouFxUxCxKxIxNSuck Exactly ! ^

  • @TheRepublicPanda Taekwondo is supposed to be used when wielding a rifle, so that you can't use your hands. A good taekwondoka never use his hands

  • @newrant9000 If we never use it then why do we train in it What happens when you have no more kicking space? We were taught to keep our distance a strike with speed, but when they get too close for kicking what should you do? try to kick your legs using half a foot of space?

  • @TheRepublicPanda I've been a taekwondoka for several years and i know how small can be the space in which a taekwondoka can kick without problems. Despite that, that's a big limit of pure taekwondo, that is supposed to be used in an open space, with a rifle, without caring of anything else than the soldier in front of you, maybe holding your position to avoid going on the enemy side during melee. For close-range purposes, taekwondo get mixed with other martial arts but it's not pure taekwondo.

  • @newrant9000 However I believe TKD was not perfect and I still believe it is still a "process" and not yet a "product", but close to one. I've trained in not only TKD, but Akido and Karate. Like many other over years they evolved into the product (What most would say) that is now. However ever a big difference comes because TKD was meant for military purposes. Those martial arts that have not given enough time to evolve such as Chinese wushu are not yet even perfect and is not PURE

  • Taekwondo guy was noob

  • @MrDarthvaderlikespie Wow proves your a kid for saying he is a noob

  • @MrXmoney123 Geez Im just saying they shouldve gotten a better person to fight against the karate dude you dont need to go all ape shit over an opinion.

  • even mma, muay thai, and shaolin and etc. are just the same except boxing.

  • @SuperIslamisthetruth Yeh right, shaolin's 4 thousand years got nothing against boxing's less than a century

  • taekwondo and karate is just the same!

  • are you kidding me? this TKD guy didn't even perfom a single 360, not counter attacks; or a yeop chagi. I guess he was rather tired or sth. rlly, my classmate yellow belt friends fight better than he did.

  • @bloodinyourface100

Obviously the Tae Kwon Do guy could've done a hell lot to win that fight.

  • @bloodinyourface100 So your fellow yellow belt classmates go out for actual unpadded full contact sparring against other style's yudansha and do better than this guy? And they even successfully deliver spinning kicks under that ruleset? You guys must be extremely skilled. Or extremely uneducated wannabes.

  • @bloodinyourface100 this guy could kick your ass and your friends ass in the same fight.

  • @Hem4fiction

I don't think so. I am a kyokushin yellow belt and i assure you that most martial arts are not very effective in real life fights. there are exceptions however like krav maga and boxing

  • @Ksharp1fan that's nice to know, this taekwondo guy could still kick his arse. Bloodinyourface stands no chance, absolutely zero chance.

  • @Ksharp1fan I assure you that it's not the martial art style that isn't effective in real life fights. There is only so many different ways to attack and block with limited number of weapons on body. It is more on how they train. Kyokushin puts a lot of emphasis on being able to use in real life fights, thus puts a lot of emphasis on sparring and toughening the body, which is why there are many tough fighters from Kyokushin. Just like everything, if you fight more, you'll get better.

  • @bloodinyourface100

doesnt matter about doing trick kicks in reality a round house is the same as a tornado

a tornado gives you momentum but a simple kick is way better beacuse its fast and little time to react for the opponent if you. it depends on the fighter everything depends on them if you dont understand that your mindfucked

  • @bloodinyourface100 agree! Some yup chagis would have been nice, maybe som dwit chagis too? And Naero Chagi would have went straight trough his blocking

  • The tkd guy must learn to keep his DISTANCE

  • karate is the best

  • @apalepeks2000 that is in your opinion

  • @apalepeks2000 yes it is :)

  • TKD guy was exhausted early on. Clearly not a good match in skill between the figthters.

  • kung fu forever

  • that taekwondo guy took more punches to the body than a boxer, you will allways land about 3 punches to one kick. that's why this guy got his arse kicked. the range of a kick is longer but punches will allways be quicker outside and close quarters. good fight though.

  • hmmm very nice.. fought by Kyokushinkai Karate man.. but needs to improve his skills more n more...

  • Karate came from teakundo and teakundo came from kung fu long time ago anyways..

  • @robins1818, you can't even spell taekwondo correctly.

  • @robins1818 no, it isn't... Tae kwon do was originated from Karate and Korean ancient martial art called Taekkyon.. but Karate was also originated from one of the korean martial art called Soo byeock do..

  • Japanese use hands

    it's unfair

  • Hahhahaha street fight

  • TKD is not useless in close combat the TKD guy is just a sucker...he did not even try a close combat naeryo to head...

  • what can i say...with all do respect but t.k.d guys is very useless in close combat situation unlike karate we master both close and distance combat situations.....but i still respect this martial arts.....ossh

  • @viruzpin20 Maybe WTF Taekwondo is not so good in close combat situations because of they just doing kicks in sparrings, but there is another Taekwondo style,

The ITF Taekwon-Do is both punches and kicks in sparrings than the WTF style. So it is maybe why WTF Taekwondo guys are maybe not "useless" but have some weaknesses than the ITF style. So the martial art "Taekwondo" is not useless in close combats, it depends on what kind of Taekwondo style it is :) But i know what you mean ;)

  • @viruzpin20 every martial art has its weaknesses but it's usually the practitioner that is to blame. As an art karate and TKD each have gaping weaknesses, but are useful for certain things. This TKD guy sucks, in proper TKD you are taught how to punch, something this guy obviously doesn't know. his conditioning sucks as well. I was looking at olypmic karate and it was equally as bad, focousing on the show of it rather than any actual damage. oh, and I think you meant "osu"

  • wow yea that tkd guy sucks ass… what in the world is he doing sparring so damn close to the karate dude!?!? like seriously??? i have nothing more to say but what an embarrasment

  • i would of used my rasengan and ended it

  • @myjuto369 nah, you would NOT have

  • what i say to the haters of this video if you can't do it you obviously shouldnt be commenting stuff like they suck or something its harder than it looks i know because i do tae kwon do

  • テコンドーは空手のパクリです。

  • @kinu6559

taekwondo is notパクリ karate is from korea you fucking gay!

  • @kinu6559 karate and taekwondo is a rip thats what SHE said!

  • ppor taekwondo guy lost his stamina after a minute... but he showed some flashes of brilliance at the beginning...

  • Karate- skill

    Taekwondo - speed

  • @MissJen27 they both require skill, speed and strength

  • boot against ITF, I want to see é this shit

  • expensive, will take up your ass with this shit of video

  • Failmpunching

  • Karate equals failmounching

  • karate and Taekwondo Vs. MMA. mmm... who do you think will win?

  • pathetic

  • what is shit no head defence , no hand strikes

  • This guy makes karate look so mindless.

  • Karate is sooooooo stupid, it more like street fighting

  • @Nightninja64 if you dont know karate then dont diss it. Dont let other people know you dont know anything.

  • i think 'WTF takwondo' is winner

i can't trust this video becuz it's made by chinese.

  • THE PUNICHMENT BEGAN AT 3:04 the TKD dude just wasnt fit, hard and tough enough for the karate dude.

  • @mirageF1AZ i think your right, i practice TKD for 7 years now and this guy has an awefull condition ;d

  • @bearman1997 Ossu Respect for my fellow martial artist. first dan shotokan

  • @mirageF1AZ red belt TKD, to young for a black belt ;$

  • @bearman1997 How old do you have to be for a blackbelt, in shotokan you have to be a minimum of 16 years old.

  • @mirageF1AZ me to but im just 14 years old ;d

  • @mirageF1AZ not true, WTF taekwondo you are not allowed to punch your opponent and kicking requires a lot more energy

i think this guy wasted too much energy on kicking

  • @Hem3fiction Oh so the karate dude doesnt get tired of kicking and punshing? where are you from, what do you eat, drink or smoke to not get tired from punching and kicking? really you can see the Taekwondo dude is not as hard and tough as the karate dude.

  • @mirageF1AZ looking at the video again it actually looks like he took too many body shots, and that makes a big difference in WTF taekwondo because there is no punching in WTF and considering there are no gloves, those body shots would have really hurt

and trust me, the WTF guy was doing turning kicks which require a lot more energy than the low front snap kicks the Karate guy was doing and punching takes a lot less energy than turning kicks

  • @Hem3fiction Im going to agree with you on that one...I think if the taekwondo fighter was just a bit fitter or tougher he would have nailed the karate dude because he was also gassed. I would have only been fair to let the taekwondo dude also throw punches, the only true way of determining the best fighter that day.

  • @mirageF1AZ How do you know the TKD fighter wasn't allowed to punch? I highly doubt that when the Karate guy was allowed to kick as well. Perhaps the TKD fighter acknowledged that his hand shots wouldn't be effective against a Karate fighter's hand shots?

  • @Veneratio10 ill answer for him, this is WTF Taekwondo, there is no hand striking, it's all kicking. The ITF taekwondo is allowed to use hand strikes and punches. There is no rules against punches in this sparring match but WTF aren't accustomed to do so

  • @Hem3fiction I judged this Karate-vs-TaeKwonDo match pretty much along the same lines as you. TKD kicks can be devastating, but if they're used too readily, if the opponent is at least partically prepared for them, the leg can be dodged or grabbed (as happened sometimes here) - and after repeated failed kicking attempts, the TKD artist tires quickly and becomes vulnerable. TKD kicking is best balanced by some skill in hand defense as well.

  • @Tigerpaws9097826 yeah true that, out of all the martial arts i know, TKD is the most focused on balance, fitness and flexibility. but i guess the WTF fighter wasn't use to the new rules

  • @Josefigueroa1023 Actually in Shotokan karate competitions we hit each other in the face. DAMN hard aswell.

  • TKD!!!!!!

  • @NYJoker1, you can't spell, or use proper grammar, I can only imagine how you fight (badly). You're right, I would last a whole lot longer than half an hour at your school.

  • Unfortunately the TKD was not throwing any reverse punches or back fist and stuck to Olympic fighting rules, in a real match this would have been very lopsided.

  • like somebody said, no MA is greater than the other, it all depend on the fighter oss

  • @7913Daniel, train hard, Osu!.

  • WOW it’s hard to know which one would win if they were evenly matched, it’s too bad that Kung Fu wasn’t thrown into the mix! I love watching Kung Fu movies because the choreography is always incredible and that’s what got me really excited for the new movie “Films of Fury” which just came out on demand. It has some great movie clips and action scenes!

    bitly .com/uBGPir

  • have you ever seen kwonkicker?!

    stop flaming about tkd.-.-

there are noe perfect martial art..

  • /watch?v=imaUnEJVNxk

  • no fighting style is supremer than the other, it depends on the fighter

  • Tae kwon do practitioners buy their belt, we Karate practitioners EARN our belts with blood and sweat, we've had numerous Tae kwon do people come train at our Kyokushin school, none have lasted more than one class

  • @Tamadrummer1981 I did Tae kwon do for 2 years and am currently training for Kyokushinkai Karate.

  • I also did Wu Shu Taulo for 2 years and Shotokan Karate for 3 years...

  • @Sniper9773 nice. but I wrote my comment for Tamadrummer1981.

  • @Tamadrummer1981 and ur bitchass woke up -,-, i bet u cant last half hour in my school

  • @Tamadrummer1981

How much of the time on your club goes to kihon and kata? When I practiced kyokushin I thought it wasn't enough fighting compared to kihon, which was kinda boring.

  • @Tamadrummer1981 PLEASE YOU KNOW WHAT GETS US ARE BELTS IN TAEKWONDO?

SWEAT SWEAT AND SWEAT thats it

  • I did Tae Kwon-Do for years (ITF) and it's a real shame when you stick a TKD fighter in a competition he instantly forgets how to block and punch.
