(A) What this dumb ass and dumb asses alike fail to explain is how one goes about finding an agent. They just blabber on about the point when your script gets noticed. I hope this moron gets brain cancer.
(B) Okay, fucktard, where are these production companies, cuz as far I've gotten is to those production companies who accept only solicited scripts. How about divulging us with some advice worth heeding....MOTHER FUCKER!
If you honestly don't know how to find the names of agents or production companies that accept unsolicited scripts, you should give up now and make it easier on yourself and everybody else down the line.
That's right, I don't. And I suppose your the intellectual virtuoso on the matter. 'Kay, buddy, start listing me some names... Sure I can think of production companies, but those who accept unsolicited material, especially for the horror genre, is rather difficult, as your raisin sized brain can only fathom in vague, fuzzy leaps of discernment. Your like every other moron on youtube who can only respond with egotistic slurs.
I'm not going to apologise for my ego. Have you ever considered approaching a producer rather than a production company? I have had varying levels of success this way. If you can interest a producer - who are always looking for the next big script - then you may get a financer and distributor interested. No producer is going to read all of your script, so if you can hook their attention with a good title that says what it is, and a logline that conveys the essence of the story, you may have luck
Good advice, although Matt Damon and Ben Affleck did not write the final screen version of "Good Will Hunting"--heavyweight writer William Goldman did.
Very helpful. A few night ago, I was up into the wee hours watching these vids. Thanks very much man, these were both inspiring and informative.
If you get a chance, please check out our featured video, EPISODE 6 of WHATZ GOOD STUDIOS and tell us what you think. This time, we've got wild sexy parties, an appearance from The Joker, and a cat fight. Thanks!
but how to get a small production company interested in my play in the first place?
