if you have a brain, then realize that humanity is the most useless and heartless beings in the universe.

that is what all the fanboy directors forget about these days. its not about the gundams, the gundams just takes the meaning away from the show. and bitch please, letting a man do a women's job much? it is men's duty to kill each other in battle, and a women's responsibility to bring forth the new age. even pappy from zeta gundam understood that. how naive of people these days.

That's a very pessimistic view of humanity and the future of our world. Even Tomino at first disliked the AU series of Gundam but eventually mellowed out. The directors probably do not "forget", they just have a more higher opinion of morality in humans than you seem to have. Not every Gundam series has to be a Hamlet "Kill 'Em All" series. I agree it is somewhat naive, but being idealistic is better than being a person who is cynical.

indeed it is, our civilizations will do nothing to save the world that gave birth to us, and our selfishness will only serve to destroy everything we 'cared' for.

i really hate to keep telling people this, but you can tell when a series is directed by a person(s) who is too afraid to kill off their characters. there is nothing wrong with a cast that lives through the series, only wrong when it seems fairly obvious that they were deliberately kept alive by god hand

In every Gundam series, EVERY single one has a death to an important character. This statement alone rules it out from being one of those series directed by a person "who is too afraid to kill off their characters".

ok who died in 00 -> nobody. period.

none of the gundams got seriously damaged enough to constitute complete write off of the machine and their pilot, and look at poor graham, man oh man the poor bastard. just because jerrid was an asshole that kept coming back, doesn't mean its alright if you using that excuse to bring back your bad guys! and jerrid was a complete dick which inturn made him a way more convincing character than any of the 00 anti-heroes.

Last time I checked 00 had Gauron in a Gundam. Like in typical Gundam fashion, the Gundam units were heavily damaged at the end of the series/show to be written off the show. Yes no one died in 00, no one at all, not Sergei, Lockon (who got a clone replacement anyway), the two bridge bunnies, the whole Innovator team, Gauro- I mean Prince Ali, and a whole list of characters.

bridge bunnies are much better when they were actually cute instead of trying to be cute (oh god cringe at the character design that reminds me of the decayed years. just because you're trying to be real doesn't mean they can't make anime faces oh the horror)

00 (first reason) is meant to a deconstruction of having a heavy technological advantage. The "super robot" Gundams were overpowered compared to the other MS of the time, but still faced trouble against skilled pilots and attrition tactics. In the end the "villians" got the GN technology and turned the tables with a small amount of weak Gundam knock-offs. The statement about the bridge bunnies is solely based on your own opinion and many would probably beg to differ.
