My last car was a toyota (sold it to get a new car). Currently own an 08 camry, 06 camry, lexus IS250 and a 2010 Kia Cerato Koup. The Kia is an amazing car and it's easy to see that they have come a LONG way, they're easily comparable to my toyotas. As for Honda, I've never owned one (and don't plan to) so I can't comment on that.

@cexis2011 I'm not Saable, but I will answer your question. I've owned both japanese cars and korean cars and the gap, if it still exists, is rapidly closing. I currently drive an Elantra and its engine is bullet proof, but the body and interior integrity isn't quite as good as the honda or toyota yet, but the aforementioned brands are more expensive. I'd highly recommend getting a hyundai or kia, but whether or not you prefer them over the japanese cars is really a matter of personal choice.

Max power is at 6000rpm?! Wow, that's too high isn't it? I actually did a test drive this particular model and I really liked it. It's so cheap for what it is. But the turbo lag is quite noticeable. It has a fairly long delay before it kicks in. But everything else is just amazing. I ended up getting the Sportage EX though, I love it so far.

I wish Kia Optima had the outside of Hyundai Sonata, or the other way around, it would be a perfect car. I love the interior of Optima, but exterior is too busy, not that nice, too many details out of place, it looks messy. Sonata exterior is almost perfect, but interior feels very cheap and no where near as nice as Optima.

Good review, but most of the exterior shots are of a Kia Optima EX Luxury, not a SX as he claims. I'm guessing he does this because the 18" aluminum wheels on the SX are ugly, especially when compared to the 18" rims on the EX Luxury.
