@xPhiieebeex In the original Japanese version of Final Fantasy VII, her name is Aerith, but it was translated as Aeris in the English version by SCEA. This is because the Japanese language doesn't have the "th" sound, and the closest thing is "su," the equivalent of the English-language "s" sound. The translators were mistaken when they spelled her name in English, and took the "su" sound in her Japanese name to mean an "s."

You need to buy Final Fantasy VII- which is a playstation 1 game. Very old, but brilliant. Even if you do not manage to get your hands on this, there is an extra part on this dvd which tells you the whole story of the game, so that you can understand the film.

As for the release date- it depends what country you're from. It's already released in America and Canada, but places like England is not released until the end of July.

This is the movie, but it has been modified. New scenes, more action...my advice to everyone who has not watched FFAC yet, is to make sure you get Final Fantasy Advent Children COMPLETE. It's friggen awesome ;)

Ps3 only? no way it's too expensive now. I still don't have one. It should spread out to dvd so people who can't afford the expensive stuff can still have a chance at it.

It might be too expensive for you but not for gamers who have a jobs. PS3 consoles are slowly increasing in sale b/c the PS1 generation gamers are now getting older and getting higher paying jobs. Remember PS3 has a blu-ray player ($200) and its a super computer. Its like $700 dollars of equipment.

Developers haven't even tapped into its maximum potential yet. I can't afford it either b/c I'm still in college. i'll probably buy one when i get my job within a year.

If you knew anything about the economy in the United States, it's actually in trouble and is in a state of recovery right now. well i dont think its that expansif.. look im workin at low salary.. i have a wife and 2 kids and still i dont have a problem to get that.. its just u have to save money.. now a regular ps3 is only 400 bucks canadian.

It's okay for it to come out on blue ray but it's not okay for it not to be release in anything else such as the dvd if the creators are trying to claim it as a replacement for the old one which came out in DVD. Not everyone wants a ps3 or a blue ray player. I just want to movie. That's all.
