  • i stopped using ebay, but the other day was browsing and the page redirected, and i was able to email the seller, this site goes from bad to worse.

  • I ran the phone number for mrs_baily 409.224.0475 .Texas has a reputation for having plenty of gypsies that run scams, hell even Dr. Phil was even being used in a scam ring capp.

At -4 FB rating with a whopping 77 negs in just a short time, they finally NARUd her. I think that may have been an automatic thing though, and not a human action or response. Good thing though, she was due for a whole lot more negs.

'She' can just buy another fake account and scam a few hundred more people. This is about the 3rd such scam I've seen this season. List mass quantities, collect, then split. Whoopie!

I don't think other places have this trouble, do they?

  • @cappnonymous Not at all Capp,Ebay makes it soooo easy then takes the holier than thou approach.Things like that never happen and we take steps to prevent it.Yep and folks just rolled in off the banana boat and were just born yesterday also. There is a problem, fix it that simple.I am just waiting for the day when the feds come down on both Ebay & PayPal and seize pc's & records and find them very accountable for their questionable bussiness practices.

LOL! there's more scammers on ebay by far. Remember ebay is the world's biggest online crime ring, not Texas. )~

Also I doubt whoever that account was registered under was the person actually behind it. The fake accounts for sale guarantee the scammers will get away scott-free. Who knows? It could even be ebay behind the scam. I bet they need the money.

  • this is shocking! O.O!

  • @smokyacb

Nah, it's business as usual at ebaY. Actually this is a small scam compared to a lot of others. There have been scams of into millions of dollars, millions and millions of stolen or fake goods etc. Just wait 'til the holidays are over. I bet we see a lot more of this MO reported.

As for the hacking, a huge seller, pugster888 got hacked and had anywhere between 57-70K fake listings inserted on their account over last weekend.

  • 2:55 "CLOSE THE BORDERS!!"? WTF - sure, blame the immigrants.

  • @paddedshell closer to 2:50

Yeah saw that. People are fuming as they post those feedbacks, no telling what we might see. mrs_bailey's FB now 48 with those negs just rolling in!!! Sadly, this is not the only time this year a similar scam has occurred. I've seen this sort of thing mentioned on eb forums several times now. Threads either get buried or pulled. eb apologists are blaming the victims.
