  • my mridanga bayan came shipped very high what do i do to male it not high pitch

  • You can temporarily lower the pitch by carefully applying some water to the head. It shouldn't be "wet," just moist is fine. Give it a short time to evaporate somewhat and it will be lower. To lower it permanently, unless you are able to take apart the straps, loosen them, and put it back together (a difficult task), it would not be advisable.

  • im malayalam and play mridanga this is called khol not mridanga tamill ppl play mridanga

  • Mridanga is body of clay. Any instrument with a clay body is a mridanga...

  • Haribol,

I have checked different videos for learning mrdanga; but the difficulty I am facing is to integrate it with Kirtan. Can you please sing along for some time whenever you introduce a new mantra. This will be really useful.
