In the City of Cambridge the mayor demands that elderly parents pay a permission fee of $4,000 for the right to live independently in the homes of their adult children. In addition, any adult child who does accommodate an aging parent has his or her property taxes increased by up to 30%. Cambridge is a hostile city with a corrupt municipal government. The city is also in severe debt. I recommend that nobody consider moving to this very hostile city.
