Lee Unkrich (director of TS3), made this known on his formspring account when a few people asked him about the two. He has said that the two share a sibling like bond with each other. The only question that remains is who sees who as the older/ more mature "sibling". :D

After Toy Story was finished most theaters played a cute little intermission of the characters answering questions, showing trivia and just being silly like in this clip. I might upload a few of the questions in the future only because Buzz, Jessie, Rex, Hamm, and Mr. Potato Head are heard laughing, talking and having a good time. :)

Here in the UK, they didn't release it as a double feature so we had to pay once for Toy Story in 3D in October and then once in January for Toy Story 2 in 3D. Also, they only had each one on for a week unlike the US which had them for a few weeks. And we didn't get a Toy Story 3 trailer or any of these shorts, even though we paid double what people did in the US to see them

@Warfrae Sadly yes. It's unknown if she was given away before or after this short took place. Lee Unkrich (the director), has said that if he had to guess then Bo went to one of Andy's family members who were expecting a newborn baby girl. Given the fact that she's a nursery lamp, that's a pretty good home for her. The only other thing that could have happened to her (besides breaking), is she was probably sold in a yard sale or donated to a new home.
