@MANKIND68 His plan was to completely eliminate religion, so as to starve out the foul entities of the warp. Then his son Lorgar started that God-Emperor nonsense. The Emperor told him to stop being a fool. Lorgar was butthurt, and turned to chaos. Then the heresy starts. And THEN people started doing the god worship, when the Imperial Cult started. It took a while for it to become the state religion of the Imperium however. The Imperium itself is not a lie however. ;D

1st time I heard this all I could see was wave upon wane of Leman Russ qand Baneblade tank's with mounted IG all fireing at will, coverd over head by thunder hawks all numbering in the billions !
