@ToonSxO follow the guide and you'll see everything, including how to put back i just went backwards through the video and made a mental note of everything as i took it apart, everything went in a line first was all the way left, second went to the right third to the right fourth and so on so i just picked up everything backwards and the rest is
This video helped my out 90% of the way with replacing the screen but did not include how to take the screen out from the bezel or how to remove the home key touch buttons. I replaced my screen and now my home keys do not work, oh well I will use the keyboard until i get an upgrade. Thank you for the video.
Excellent video - completely clear. All I need now is the motherboard flex cable ribbon, and the repair will be complete. Too bad y'all don't sell to the general public...would love to do business with you.
I have the exact same problem. They light up and blink when I touch them, but nothing else happens. I'd also like to know what could have caused that.
it would be nice if you actually took the screen out and show how you have to remove the adhesive strip that doesnt come with the new screen! oh and the grey elctric strip for the touch shortcuts that has to be carefully or else they wont work anymore!!! oh and dont forget most pppll have sd cards and if you dont take that out first it will break!!!!!
on my epic the 2, w,s,z and volume done buttons dont work, do i need a new keyboard flex cable ? all the other buttons work..... im not new to opening electronics but smartphones i have trouble with, this seems complicated as hell just to get to the keyboard lol
many factors may make the slide rail looser, such as the deformation of the slide rail. before making sensor, we do not recommend you tighten it manually!

Removing the lcd is as simple as pulling the screen off the housing, it is just stuck on. Be careful to keep the sticky cutout clean tho because you haveto pull it off with tweezers and transfer it to the new screen.
Just used this guide to replace a bad lcd this weekend. The old one had the infamous back button issue.
I need to kno how to tke the headphone jack out -__-
