  • Friendly Sackage everywhere, humble Sacks with out temptation...

  • Yeah on home u can make lbp wallpaper n save it

  • Speak this to Playstation Home.

  • @VicRattler

Playstation Home has its own LBP Wallpaper maker.

  • cool thx

  • Use front view and a 16:9 background for the best picture results. To get 16:9

Make a rectangle 16 small blocks long and 9 blocks high and enlarge it however much you want :P

that's the apsect ratio of the picture box and HDTVs

  • Thanks! This was really helpful!

  • NO first put on a grid

    :)

  • @TheNintenchic you do things your way, I'll do them mine.

  • Thank and call the video backround not wallaper

  • cool

  • look at some of my lbp videos im coming out with some more soon and they are really cool

    HAHA

    awesome you guys

if there isn't a Sack Park level already someone needs to get on that :D

  • nice! i never really thought of this. ill have to try it out some time.

  • ADD ON PSN TheBigBoss56

  • theres two ways to make a background do this or glitch out a block to well it pops out

  • You can go into the start menu and select front view to get a straight forward view to take your picture, so that it isn't smaller at the bottom, It's all proportional.

  • Yes, yes. This has already been addressed several times in the comments. But thank you... again.

  • crap this is good thatnks! :D

  • i know how to make the best costumes

  • great, you should make a video about that

  • nice background. i like people that take the time to make videos about things nobody would take the time to even think about doing:)

  • add me PSN: LL-RAVAGE-LL

  • dont see my videos!

  • ok, if you insist, I won't see your videos. And I was going to too, but now I guess I'm not allowed.

  • Comment removed

  • why I do not have these stickers that you have sackboy costumes, and many others. where they can get help? in story or game pack help pls

  • @gorasmae

you mean the stickers like sackboy with costumes? you have to complete some create mode tutorials to get them

  • dude AWSOME i used this on a brick wall NOT ONLY DOES IT SAVE SPACE but i was then able to apply grafitie to the wall which i wouldnt have been able to do because each bick was seperat piece of matireal THX!!! NO REALLY thank you alot...

look out for my lvl it will be a wrap up of bad things that happended the the world from 2000 - 2010 (decade)

  • looks kick ass thanks for teh cool tip man!

  • this realy helped me.

    OH THANK YOU VICRATTLER!!!

  • haha... um...

    You're welcome : )

I'm amazed this video still gets any notice.

  • ok you could always use front view for a better picture

  • thanks, great help i'll be trying it out later

  • Thanks, this helped me quite a bit! By the way, in some levels, blocks of materail seem perfectly formed to stickers. How can I do this?

  • simple, place the sticker on and cut around the block so it fits the shape, although doing this will make the shape very complex and increase themometer usage.

  • Comment removed

  • do one better : )

  • you could use the corner editing tool to make it more simple

  • no

the point is to make it complex without taking up thermometer space

  • that actually looks really good. Kudos

  • when its highlighter over the trees like traced its much better but when its not traced it doesn't look so still life...

    (Stll life means were you draw it or photograph it as in place objects in an area and then you try to copy it or photograph it and it is suppposed to look realistic!) - LOL! Now you learned something new today (probably) -i hope lol !!! :} godbless to all the inisant people and the other people! :*}

  • he hit delete then adds a bit bigger tree thats how he made the layers in one layer

  • Dude AT LEAST fix the camera to face it flat, instead of the game view.

  • feel free to do that in your tutorial

    ; )

  • how do you add layers to a material? whenever i select a material it's only one layer =/

  • I recommend going through the tutorials, they should help you.

  • glad i got this.. got the game yesterday and am only just getting used to it.. will build a few levels using the default backgrounds then attempt to make my own!!!

  • dude thats wicked

  • no, you take a picture of the object, the picture is saved and you can use it repeatedly.

  • how do you copy that wallpaper is it just like copying a object

  • I wish you could have it on pause mode without the annoying distortion at the top and sound.

  • ehhh, what fun would that be? Much sillier this way. : )

  • I agree. It's a bit irritating. I mean, you can see it's on pause by the icon...

  • Awesome!!!!!!!

  • kickass you can make some cool things with this

like keep o taking pics of the previous pc and then it looks like the background goes on forever

  • I'm amazed people keep finding this...

really glad to see it's been so useful

  • did something like that.

take a pic of u standing next to a blank photo frame.

then take a pic. put that picture on the frame, then take another picture and put that on, and another, untill it looks infinate

  • awsum dude!

  • its only a joke any ways i like the idea

  • : O

    >: |

    : D

    : P

  • 3:58 ok you hav got a bit too many trees lol

  • as the designer I think I can have as many trees as I want, thank you.

  • Yea because thats the important thing.

  • "too many of these will give u a fever" right now i think swine flu would be more beleivable

  • I don't want to date it, keep it relevant for all times. Not like that LBP tutorial with all the jokes about the the Taft administration. Sooooo 1908.

  • how did u make the 2 base thin?

  • again, please take the time to watch all the tutorials in the game, they will explain the simple functions to you

  • very nice

  • ...no!

  • THats pretty cool, im gonna use this, thanks

  • When taking a picture like that it might be better to hit Start and change to front view so you have a flat image to take a picture of.

  • @hyperballad22 ikr!!!

  • This is an amazing way to make a backround and I know this because I used the conventianal way (The 3d, physical way) and using pictures REALLY saves space on the thermometer. And was this for a map or just a tutorial?

  • Thank you. I thought it up while making a level and noticing that repeating the wall 3 times had me overheating already. Just made the tutorial to help others.

  • nice vid but why dont you just save that item in your pocket?

  • you mean POPIT

  • Already addressed that

  • how do u copy an object?

  • watch the in-game tutorials sometime, they're very helpful.

  • oki

  • how do you show those lines when your making your wallpaper?

  • Grid mode i think

  • really nice keep up the good work =D PSN: Linkanklinkan

  • Thnx man Very nice video

  • select an object and hit L3

Strongly suggest going through ALL the tutorials, they are very helpful.

  • and you can't do much till you have lol

  • how do you copy objects?

  • siema kudlacz11 moje psn Wodzu76 chec to pogramy i moze ci pomoge

  • uhhhh...

    yep

  • really nice man. keep up the good work:D

  • thank you

    hope it was helpful

  • enjoy your overheating thermometer noob

  • I cant create my levels becouse i dont have bag in this menu plz HELP

  • You have to play all the tutorials, start creating a new level then open your poppit then press the ? button.

  • great tut

  • damn it takes so long to load but the part that i seen at the start was great . thanks :D

  • try letting it load without watching it, pause it at the beginning, then play when it's done. Hope that helps, and hope the tutorial helps. Appreciate getting hearted by any LBPers who found this useful. : )

  • lol it doesn't really help it still loads really slow

  • if u play online on ps3 and only play lbp add me im called superbjobby on it

  • Just a Gamebridge, check eBay or Amazon maybe.

  • What do you use to capture the screen?

  • im the same as mantorradas, i dont know how to make a thin background so i had to make the sea on my vietnam level thick, so u could walk on it when i didnt want people to. could someone please tell me!

  • i'm still not sure about how to make thin layers of material, instead of thick ones :(

  • The game teaches you in the tutorials, use the R1&2 buttons to modify thinkness.

  • not very helpful

u could save the object so u keep the color

u can take a photo later of it (if u want) so the quality is only once a bit lower

  • The whole point of this is to take a photo, try watching the whole thing before commenting. Thank you.

  • I made one with boats in the background. This did help a lot!

  • Good to hear. :)

  • Nice job! That is as close as you can get though, we shall see though I heard MM is making a Photo Uploader form your hard drive so that should be cool! XD

  • I've been hoping they would. This is just a stop-gap until then. ;)

  • i have proof

  • lets see this "proof":)

  • well i thought it was a good tutorial good job :)

  • Well I'm hopefully getting LittleBigPlanet tomorrow, so I'll remember to do this if I need any wallpapers, thanks for it !

  • You're welcome

  • I did

    try watching the whole thing

a photo is a sticker, it's the best you can do, so far.

  • Yeah, this isn't really painting or making wallpaper, you're just making a wall. I thought you were going to show me how to make a STICKER.

  • no problem

  • it wasent helpful because thats not realy a methood its just something everyone knows allredy

  • good for you cool guy
