Exactly, the point is, is that most people only know him for his hip hop background. They have no idea who else he has worked with besides those in mainstream media.

LOL. Actually they made each other big. Timbaland NEVER actually rapped/sung on a song as much as he did for "Promiscuous" He did A LOT of vocals in it. Thus people wanted to know who he was. I will admit, he was still huge before. Making beats for Alliyah, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, ETC.

Nelly Furtado made Timbaland big? Uhhh.... LOL.. Do you have any idea who Timbaland is? He is a music producer, he helped Aaliyah get big (before she died that is) I'm not saying that he helped Ashlee get big, cos she was big before him. But coming back into music he did help her, why do you think she chose him?

Either way, I think you need to educate yourself on Timbaland, he's kind of like Pharrell, he makes sick ass beats and helps people produce their music.

People like to knock Ashlee for lip syncing thing, but there are a tons of crappy pop singers out there making millions because they have a pretty face and a sound team to make their voice sound decent.

There are devices that actually change the pitch of your voice to sing in tune now(even on live performances).

That being said, this song is catchy but nothing original.
