I think they are more happier than european people... They have problems simple just like how to get food or water, not like "civilized" people, which living in stress with imaginary problems made by himself (like moneys, bureaucracy). I want to live like that ;/
When 2 people face each other to dance together, is that just dancing together or is it like competing to see who dances better or see who makes a wrong move or something like that?
Kinda reminds of crunk dancing done on the documentary movie "Rise". My momma always said whats in ya gonna come out. Africa is in us even though we are not there. it still shows in our dancing and music, so were really never far from home.
@jujukoko lol..just watch it again and again.....kindda take you to another dimention..go with it..dont be judgemental ...u will discover the truth..lol
Bingwa- This footage is amazing. I would like to use a few seconds of it in a not-for-profit documentary I'm producing. I sent you a message via YouTube email. It explains everything. I hope you will take a moment to read the message and let me know if it is feasible for you. Thanks.
Sister at 3:14 is getting sick with it... I have watched this 40 times at least and I love it more every time I see it... 5:57 they just killing it my girl in the blue is so kool and she can dance her royal ancestry off lol...
amazing! are they speaking lyrics or chanting? If a Maasai said to me what sounded like the word kati' or katy or kaytee what would that mean? PLEASE RESPOND!!!
I love this. Im proud to be of african decent. I am diaspora in the USA. I know I wouldnt be fully accepted because of my birthplace in the USA and my americanized ways and language. Nevertheless I will never turn my back on the truth of my DNA and ancestry. I love Africa, the people, and what it stands for. The place where it all began. The origin of man. The Mother of the earth. The place I long to be.
@Sircarpediem you are so very wize i couldn't have said it better myself, alot of african americans have been brainwashed to think that our people are ugly and discusting so when you tell them that they are Africans they get really insulted, but im so glad to know that you are not ignorant and brain washed
@Sircarpediem ....well spoken, i feel the exact same way and in the diaspora of the americas also....i love who i am and who we are as an original peoplel!! remain blessed
yes im a maasae from Arusha too but currently i live in the united states of America. i went to esoto, oloip and i did all indoye do to irmuran. but im doing my bachelors now. thank you for posting this it reminds me of those good years.

@majosiris You're talking about the mainstream Religion. That's their misinterpretation.
The Egyptian, since I know one, are originally Middle Eastern.

Does this put them in an altered states of consciousness?
Blackstarting 3 months ago
@Blackstarting It depends. It depends on the intention. I do similar tribal music like this. I am a white guy. My perceptions are similar to theirs.

There is alot of chanting and there is also a separate man singing words.
