Hi everyone,, if you get a chance check out my Celebrate Recovery Song "The Run" or "More Than A Hero" at kregferrisVEVO .... He is the Healer for sure!
It's a fellowship also for a lot of people that don't have a church to attend. I been there a few months now attending, and the Lord using it to help me, I believe. If people learn the Beatitudes and get closer to Jesus, what law is their against such? Also, every meeting i attended, my flesh felt a little bit more uncomfortable and I left encouraged. That is the work of the Holy Spirit, not the law. Thank you for listening.
CR helped me! I was a believer in denial of my sin. CR helped me be honest and move closer to what God wants me to be! Thank you to CR leaders for their obedience to God. 4 years sober of one addiction and 1 year of another.
Woo hoo, he made it! A classic video that gets the message across. Very well thought out. As a member of a CR group for codependency, I feel sorry for detractors who say we're not truly in the Spirit because we're in 12-step groups and bailed on so-called "one-step" solutions. It only reveals resentment, anger and legalistic issues of their own that must be repented of.
I'll share this to my local CR group and on my YouTube channel.
Celebrate Recovery means well, but it is not Biblical. They match the man-made 12 Steps with divinely-inspired scripture, and in some cases the scriptures don't even match. And Rick Warren's 8 Principles based on The Beatitudes are just shaky theology. The Beatitudes aren't intended as a way to overcome habitual sin. Christ doesn't want to be the center of a program---He IS the program! Any time you use principles, steps, rules, etc. to overcome sin you are just reinforcing flesh . . .
I hope you do not mind-but we used this as an intro to discuss C.R. to the church a few weeks ago! This clip got everyones attention! You did a wonderful job on it! AWESOME!
