  • This is brilliant, mike should do a movie soundtrack.

  • @stiffupperlip4

I think he mentioned within the last couple months that he is working on two movie soundtracks. No more detail than that unfortunately

  • This music is sooooo beautiful! Thanks for the video!

  • mike is an underrated musician...he is so much better than those who rule in the mainstream shit

  • MIKE = GENIUS!

  • Is Mike Conducting?

  • No. He was performing. The orchestrator/conductor was Suzie Katayama. She contributed the string arrangements for Time Lapse Consortium and the majority, if not all, of the string arrangements for their albums.

  • Hey did mike play piano or guitar or what??

  • I believe Mike played various instruments throughout the piece. I believe I saw a few analog effect units as well as a wealth of keyboards played by his brother Ben, the guitarist for Simon Dawes, as well as himself.

  • no, but he is playing certain instruments in the orchestra at certain points.

  • This is hauntingly beautiful. Mikey is a genius.

P.s. I bet there new album will be amazing with him studying at hardvard.

  • i know he wrote the whole thing, but what was Mike doing or more exactly what was he playing on the show??

  • Guitars, drums, piano, organs, and a typewriter

  • grande mike

  • his writing kind of reminds me of Gershwin, kudos...

  • Gershwin? Do you have any idea what Gershwin sounds like?

  • @deathcon101

Gershwin? If anything, this sounds like Claude Debussy (g.o.a.t. among composers imho), or something else from the Impressionistic Era.

  • Thanks for posting the show!

I've been dying to hear it.

And so disappointed I coundn't make it.

  • Many thanks for the major recording effort and posting. I was there on lower floor. 3D was not so great from my perspective but I kept the glasses on for the whole piece. Mikey is without doubt gifted.

  • wow!! GO MIKE! wooooooohhhoooo!! hurah!

  • thanks a lot for posting the whole show,

it was such an amazing experience.

too bad this wasn't in 3-D too, haha :)

  • Man... if you could have seen the performance from my view WITH the 3D glasses.... amazing

  • dude, i'm pretty sure i had the best view with the glasses. i was dead center on the balcony 4th row, and everything that went up the center and the sides looked amazing.

    where did you sit?

  • i think i was either 1 or 2 rows behind you. lol. best seats in the house man
