  • Did you see the intro to this section on the DVD, you can see Shane making sure Christy doesn't alter the melody. Shane has great respect for Christy, but he also takes no nonsense when it comes to other artists performing his beautiful songs. I think everyone should experience the songs of Shane MacGowan if they haven't already, he is a true wordsmith. The last of a dying breed. It's a shame most people don't see the genius behind the drink and drugs.
