sir I played this game like a crack addict needs crack. I don't think this is the hardest difficulty, seems the AI has a hard time getting over your missiles, this was not an issue in my games. In another matter you are still an excellent player so I dpn't want you too feel like I'm taking anything from you.

I thought as much, but why are you neglecting to mention the fact that it clearly states to be a tool-assisted speedrun? I won't argue it takes some skill to make a good TAS, but it also relies a lot on an emulator's slow-motion and save state features. It's completely different from what A1Major is claiming, which takes pure skill and memorization.

That means he uses the emulator's functions to help him get perfects. A1Major's video is NOT EVEN a speedrun at all, and he does not claim it to be tool-assisted either. This is the arcade version, there are no difficulty settings. The arcade difficulty is somewhere along the lines of level 5-6 on the consoles, so you could get it alot harder on the consoles. But the arcade wasn't that hard really.

@curseyourgrave Perhaps you should do your research on games like this. Back in these days it was pretty simple to memorize CPU patters on any difficulty. When I had this game on my Genesis I would play on the hardest difficulty just because it was the only one that was actually kind of challenging, and I was 12. The guy isn't lying about the difficulty, he just knows all the patterns...you know, when learning patterns actually helped you and the CPU didn't pull cheap crap.

Hardest difficulty?. In Hard you never hit so strong. The cpu has more resistance than this, and you give it a lot of damage, and it is very agressive, and it always take cover to counter attack. That's the reason because you have to do a better strategie in hard mode, and you show the fight so easy..

I own this game. The characters are far more aggressive than this in the medium difficulty setting.
