Biggest mistake redskins made was letting him go. Instead they played crap campbell who was drafted by gibbs. Its amazing to me how little logic many coaches have in the game. I can't believe they never let this kid start. He was amazing in college and with a little preparation, would have done well for the Washington Redskins. But yet though, we told fans that McNabb was our man and then bench him for Rex Grossman. Colt Brennan was victim of a car crash recently. His ability to play may not be as good as it was, but he would have done HELLA GOOD for the Washington REDSKINS.

But that throw over the middle is one of main reasons he's not in the NFL. He'll make great plays like that, but Coaches will hate him for even risking it and making that throw.

you know, as a backup qb, he wouldn't be half bad. he's one of those guys who you can't really count on to come in and just run the offense, but he does a good job of improvising. for teams who need a guy to just go in and do as much as possible with very little talent around him, he's a decent choice.

Colt was a great college QB, he worked the spread offense brilliantly. But that doesn't translate to the NFL. Pro style offense is a lot more complicated than pitching the ball to one of 4 receivers out of the shotgun. It has to be his recent hip injury from last year that is why he is not on an NFL team... that was his second surgery to the same hip that he had done in college.

If it wasn't for his first hip injury he would have been drafted a lot earlier.

That and I think he regressed since his rookie season as a result from the re-injured hip.

He is already 27 - I really hope he gets one more chance -- if given the opportunity, I am sure that he would succeed.

Then explain why when collins comes in He is able to move the ball? we've seen collins 2 or 3 times this season and in every game he hits moss deep atleast once. Campbell might have a better arm and more athletic but he is mentally weak, and the lack of the line has made him scared. Out of the ten qbs that hold the ball the most, campbell holds the ball the longest. Sometimes a player doesnt match with a team, and campbell isnt the future.

Unfortunately, we might never see him start in the nfl. Even when Jason Campbell struggles, the Redskins would rather go after other QB than giving Brennan a chance to start. It's also unlikely that he would start somewhere else. Teams would rather draft a new QB than bringing a second stringer to start. Barred a serious accident, and other extreme circumstances, I don't see him getting a fair chance to start. Sorry, but the Tom Brady like stories are very few.
