@audionautix : I've been hell bent on trying to sing perfectly on key cause it's my biggest weakness. Take a good singer and have them sing off key and immediately they're an untalented singer, regardless of the style, tone etc. Headphones and some monitors really screw me up sometimes but singing in an open room seems to be cake...so it's just keeping at it and praying. Trying to get into the pocket and staying there. I used to hear singer with perfect pitch and be pissed! =0)

@EisenhowerStudios : The Rode K2 is a GREAT mic! Congrats. I could end up with one if I was in the market in that price range. Sounds phat. It's really go for a thin vocal...or average vocal. However I've heard thick vocals without much direction..or not sharp sounding like mine... on a K2 and it was too softening. Depends on the vocal..but a K2 would be RAD for most other singers including me! Hope you're well. =0)
