The worst thing about this car is the CVT transmission. I'll rather wait for the Infiniti M35 Hybrid, which comes with a proper 7 speed transmission, lithium Ion batteries, and one electric motor adding another 60 hp to the 3.5 litter 300 hp gasoline engine.

Beware! Measurements in my 2007 GS450h indicate up to 100 milligauss (mG) of electromagnetic field radiation (EMF)!! With proper shielding this is correctable. Toyotas position: this car meets federal regulations. This may be true, it seems there are NO regulations re EMF emissions in hybrids. We have seen Toyotas problems re customer safety---this car's EMF issue is still not addressed to my knowledge. (Also see reports of high emf emissions in the backseat floor area of some Prius models).

@jdilello I just purchased a 2007 GS450H on 8/16/2010. I had to stop driving the car because whenever I drive it, my feet, ankles, legs, hands, torso, and face starts tingling. Feels like I am being shocked or something. Gas cars are not problem. I learned that this car emits high levels of EMFs; I must be sensitive. Took my car to the Lexus dealer today, and they claim they can't find anything wrong and have NEVER heard of this before. What can I do to get the proper shielding?

@Mattixxg I have OCD so I constantly test drive ALL cars on the market. I must say I prefer foreign autos, especially German. American cars, especially luxury ones, are ostentatious and gaudy. I was considering a Navigator for awhile, but couldn't get past the chromefest and wheels that looked like they were made of cheap shiny plastic. Cadillac wants to stand out by making their cars pointy and obnoxious looking. There's a reason sophisticated people and smart money buy foreign.

major flaw on this car is the runflat tires!!! I hate them! Even tho they r zrated, hey can't handle much! They r very very fragile! I went through 7 tires in th last 14mos! My god! And those run 500 a pop! I finally got a clue and put on some Yokohama tires. I'm screwed if I get a flat,...but,..wd still save $ even if I got a tow, and a hotel! And I now enjoy the stiff bumpy ride I have! It's more racy! ;)))

This Lexus GS Hybrid is a great car. Besides the rear shape, this is a good looking car, depending on what color you get and the poisition you view it. The interior is out standing, especially in this color. With an electric motor, the power is avaliable to you almost immediately. With 80% fewer smog related emissions, this GS450H is good for the environment and our health.
