@ianreddy3 Well the AR would be cheaper if you built it yourself. It will also be very reliable if you use quality parts. However, if you have not owned a AR yet....I would buy a complete rifle to familiarize yourself with the gun platform. Then after that you can start on building one. Trust me when I say that one AR will never be enough lol

I do agree, I wish they made a MOE+ in UDE and a AFG2 in UDE. I did try to email about any additional items being released in UDE but I got the run around.

Rifle 1180 OTD for the 6940 but average is 1300 plus or minus 150

Accessories? Bout 700 to 900 total. Why? Bout them used but not abused off of forums that took about 6 months total.

So the whole set up was a lil over 2,000

Hey. I'm thinking about getting a magnifier with a LaRue flip mount. So my question is, if you have your magnifier mounted but didn't want to use it, so you flip it out of the way. Does the magnifier then get in the way of the round ejector? I know there's a round deflector but the empty casing could eject and hit the magnifier right?

@hvgiang Nope it does not get in the way at all. Went out shoting a few times and never had one shell hit the Magnifier when Flipped to the Side.

@eyanvenom Well with the LaRue FUG Grip there are three different ways to set up the front vertical grip. But the pinky fingers do hang off the bottom when I have my whole hand on the stubby version of it. Like I said in the Video, that is too unstable of a position for me to firmly hold the front end of the AR.

@bkurtz85 - I'm not sure if your aware that the military is using Eotech and I can personally vouch for their durability. They are covered by a metal shield and are very strong. There is no question about Eotech's being at faster at target accusation however if we were to assume that the Eotech broke he also has MATECH rear back-up sights. I have a set of those back up sights and they are just as durable and hold zero just as well as yours. This set up can do everything yours can and then some.

Magnifier with Eotech is a sweet setup.

I currently run an AK47 with a suppressor.

I'm looking at buying an M4 or Bushmaster ACR.

I'll diffidently run the Magnifier w/ Eotech. I have close to $2,000. Hopefully enough money to build

a similar rifle like yours. Great rifle!

Also good to see the LT pivot mount works with the PA magnifier! They told me it wouldn't work!

@Antiworld23 It works but there's a small lip on the PA Mag that you have to get past. It take a lil work but it does fit and tightens with no problems. Just use a shirt with a wide screwdriver to pry the mount open and the PA mag slips right in. PA has a FTS mount but every time it is flipped, the red dot is a little off center. The LT stays in the same spot everytime, LaRue products are high priced for a reason.

I've been thinking about getting the Primary Arms magnifier since EOtech's is like $500, I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a magnifier.  How do you like the PA magnifier other than the eye relief?

@Antiworld23 Other than eye relief its a great Magnafier, I am gonna buy another next week for my MP15-22.

I will get a EOTech or Aimpoint version but thats until I get a great deal. The Deluxe 3x that I have is the one that has a red dot centering adjustment that really comes in handy. I do have the 5x version on my MP15-22 that is great but I have an extra LT mount that so a 3x is soon to replace it. Especially with the $20 off deal they have this month.

@Antiworld23 The 3x Mag also has Great picture and I can see prarie dogs in low light (evenings) at about 150 yards. For a sub $100 (this month) it is a great option/alternative to the EOTech/Aimpoints.
