Korg N264 N364 series Demostration by S4K Part2, Keyboard solo ( JORDAN RUDESS STYLE)

Would this be an upgrade over an Alesis QS8.1? I'm also thinking about either getting a wavestation or M1. Would this be an upgrade over an Alesis QS8.1 + M1/wavestation? Or should I just stick with that combo??

hey there i love those sounds on the N264 a friend of mine had one! i wish i had one but i have a KORG 01/W FD. on this video, when you skip to 35 sec. What sound is that called? it sound so nice when he played it. thats a good sound to play at church!

I can see why the dance techno crowd so adore Korg; sounds that are drowning in FX and the samples are over processed to death. However if you want realism and more raw gutsy sounds go for Yamaha. Roland is good if you like your sounds to be smooth and refined. Kurzweil are impressive but a bit clinical sounding.

My preference is Yamaha!

I have the N364. Great workstation I just wish that the sounds on the multi track recording mode was the same as the regular sounds. Great board though had mine for over 10 years.

Hrmm does this keyboard have midi out? I just wanted to buy a cheap midi controller on ebay to control my microkorg xl and found one of these Korg N264s for $150. Do you think that would work???

M1 is the first Workstation ever, but N264 and N234 are really cool!

Non volevo certamente fare pagagoni con Jordan rudess, sono semplicemetne dei TAGS utili per individuare i nostri video ;)

Considera che comunque tutto il materiale proposto è interamente improvvisato

E' improvvisato sicuramente, io seguo S4K perchè l'ho trovato utilissimo, infatti mi complimento con l'ideatore, però devi capire che molti cercano di individuare delle soluzioni e delle impostazioni editing che Rudess utilizza e trovare spesso TAGS falsi secca molto.

Un'altro consiglio che vorrei suggerire è quello di inserire una sezione che spieghi ad esempio una KORG e che ne illustri una o due funzioni per video, in modo da avvicinare i meno esperti all'uso di un synth.

Non credo che lo stile sia come quello di Rudess, tu usi le scale pentatoniche o le esatonali, sei bravino ma non è proprio un rudess style.

I don't think that the style is like Rudess, you use the pentatonic scale or whole-tone, you are good but not really a Rudess style.

Non so quando la prendo ma è il mio prossimo acquisto.

A proposito in America ho provato anche la OASYS e la Clavia Nord Stage, ASSURDO, i suoni della Clavia sono 10000 volte superiori a quelli della Korg (intendo in particolare Piani e soprattutto Organi)!
