@hydrogxn at the time (February 2011) the OT didn't have midi sequencing capabilities yet, it was like 6 month before the release of OS 1.0 so in order to sequence the juno i just slaved Ableton live to the OT and made the midi sequence in Live

@aikighost except for the filter on the whole mix (wich is the xone vf1) all the filtering on the samples and on individual parts comes from the octatrack internal fx

@MyBrownclown it is my first elektron piece,the sound of it is great and i really like it (I am dreaming of buying a second one for live jamming with a dj mixer :p ).Without fx It does not sound as crunchy as the sp1200 but it is not a problem for me as I can build some loops in the sp and then record them in the octatrack \o/

@halation777 making money is never the point... people spend their money on all kinds of things, especially disposable things... at least you can sell your music equipment later if you don't end up using it. Octatrack is not even that expensive.

@milouzzzzch ça sonne plutôt pas mal. Le grain n'est pas vraiment comparable avec le matos vintage on est en 24bits / 44.16khz ici, ça ne peut pas sonner comme du 12bits à 32k :)

@daftendirekt97 it is easy to use live, 99% of its functions can be used while the sequencer is playing, you really never have to stop :)
