  • buenisimo ese motor

  • beautiful... never knew those had stand-off injection. Or am i mistaken?

  • @sargeantbanana~ whats stand off injection?

  • Is that not the whole engine and not just the engine block?

  • I never forget the sound of this engine.. it was INCREDIBLE. If i remember correct it was last V12 engine in F1. I want V12 back!

  • theres one of these V12's at newport beach ferrari. the thing is fuckin tiny lol

  • I hope my last comment gets disliked

  • drop that engine in a honda civic. :D

  • I want that V12 in my car... :)

  • Shumacher must of had that in his car.

  • @Karlitox23 these are injected engines and they probly spray more fuel into the manifold than needed. The cost of fuel for formula one is like the cost of a pack of skittles for a rich person

  • @stlchevy95 i can guarantee you they spray the exact amount no more no less for perfect combustion each time. and no they do not waste fuel. google the effects of changing the air/fuel ratio mate

  • i miss these days...3.5L V12...then they mandated 3L V10's....then again downsized to 2.4L V8's...now the highest and possibly the hardest type of motor-sport (F1) gets downsized again and is left to run turbo 1.6L V6's by 2014...that quit at about 15k rpms...when Cosworths V8 ran to 20,000...what happened to the good'ole days??

  • Is it carburated? What are those things at the top? I'm sorry, I saw another video of a Renault Engine where those things appear to "shoot" gasoline like injectors, but you see all the gasoline spilled out. That's why I ask this question, sorry for my ignorance

  • I want this is as a sculptor in my living room.

  • this video is just shit! all 3 seconds fade outs...silly

  • im a bit lost here?? what are fade outs??

  • @BrotherYounis

Where the image fades to black, then comes back again.

  • man if you gonna fade out...... fade in :D

  • Lots of top-end power but no torque and piss poor driveability. The Ford-Cosworth V8 eat this V12 for breakfast!

  • @strange6 ; HAHAHAHAHA so envious.

  • @Pinin500 Envious of what? The Ford V8 won the world championship that year with Schumacher whilst the V12 kept on breaking,

  • @strange6 you have right Also dont forget that with the V8 engine is lighter than v12 so in bennetton ford engineers was able to put more ballast in the car floor so bennetton had lower the center of weight which is very important in corners. With v8 engine the benneton chassis had smaller length so chassis was lighter and they put more ballast and car was more flexible in corners. Also v8 needs less fuel in fuel tank which means less weight, less number of pit stop less time in pit stop.

  • Look at michael bay with all the freaking transitions...

  • i should put this in honda i wounder how it would be when i drove it lmao

  • Lovin' that fade out button, huh buddy?

  • for each fade out one negative

  • I got a thing called tourrette and those fade outs made me so agresive that i punched my screen i took another one from my room and i finished this comment.

  • man if u record make it in full lenght dont cut the video

  • @996ktm i dislike your comment

  • Lol lol!! Thumbs up if you are never going to use fadeout in your home movies ever again.

  • WTF is up with those fade outs? Nice fucking engine block but this video fucking sucks cock!!! YOU SUCK DICK CAMERA MAN!!!!!!!

  • @Grod247 lol

  • Those exhausts were probably hell to make.

  • One of the lasts V12 F1 engines of history. Mechanic poetry, a true work of art. When we will hear that heavenly sound on F1 again?

  • @ngendro Yes man, great F1 moments. Actually V8 suck

  • anybody else see jason moore in the middle of the screen the entire video

  • Lol, at first I was like "what fade outs ?" But then... holy fick dude, lay off that windows movie maker feature you've obviously noticed the other day.

  • horrible camera man thumbs down on this vid

  • WTF...Those subliminal messages made me want to kill someone named Jackson moore.

  • the fadeouts make me want to strangle a small child

  • i love the chrome tubes :o they are art!

  • Only in F1, will you see header primary tubes large enough to look as if they belong to a big block chevy, though they belong to an engine displacing just 3.5L Takes some serious piston speed to require a header that large.

  • @madtownmadman~ the primaries slightly taper outwards from the exhaust ports.

  • @marek0086 Or, in American v8 terms, step headers.

  • @madtownmadman~ no way!.... step-headers are NOT tapered.

  • Comment removed

  • @marek0086 oh, okay. Yes, I see what you mean now. Good point. Shit. That makes for a very, very expensive header.

  • There is a work of art that will never be made again. I can't stand how crappy those new 2.4L V8's sound.

  • Weighs like 1800 pounds?

  • best f1 engine sound ever!!!!

  • sao 800hp num 3 litros e meio,aspirado......rs....c/ turbo,sao mais de mil hp....rs

  • STEAL IT STEAL IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • isn't that the engine used for the f50 of course modified?

  • @3L3CTR0static: no, the engine of the F50 is the same of the 1992 F1 car but modified in displacement and various.

  • @borrelliantonio ah ok ok well wasn't sure but I heard it had an early 90's f1 engine (modified obviously)

  • @3L3CTR0static A production car has a flywheel 3 times the size of an F1 engine. So how could your statements be of truth. Everybodys an expert hey.

  • @WesleyCful pff dude read before you comment pls...Dude I asked if it has the f1 engine "MODIFIED" obviously...watch fifth gear and they say it they even put the f1 car and the f50 side by side and say well they have both nearly the same engine. Yeah an expert yeah!

  • @WesleyCful here watch that

    watch?v=KiS-5v5UVfg

  • i want that in my volvo lol

  • thats a really freakin small fly wheel!!!!!!

  • @superfunnyman123 it's a harmonic balancer not a flywheel

  • @asterisk86,

    @superfunnyman123,

    It's neither flywheel, nor Balancer.

It's simply the but end of the crankshaft to mount the flywheel/multi-plate clutch components.

  • @superfunnyman123 Which also helps massively how fast it builds up revs.

  • the heart of the beast

  • cool vid man keep on youtube. One more thing that engine made 816bhp at 16500rpm the best engine ever in f1 in my mind. god i wish they would go back to v12 engies but they won't ferrari v12 the best.

  • @gooseneck12 Actually, the HondaRA186-E is the best engine in F1. 80 degree V6 Twin IHI Turbos, 1.5 L, Full aluminum head/block. 900 peak HP. I believe it revved anywhere between 12-13k. They were banned because they dominated the era of F1. And because of it, turbos were banned as well. Look it up.

  • @MagicGnyus You mean the turbo years of the 80's? I thought those were 4-cylinders. And I've heard that they put out upwards of 1200hp.

  • to bad thay use them for 1 race and then junk them shit i would take one win the rip it out then junk it lol $250.000 motor

  • i'd use it on a go-kart :D

  • WTF is up with the fade-outs???

  • @1ferron perhaps he watches too many black&white films... u know, the nigger shows...

  • i want that thing xD
