The Stones made a movie of their perfomance and it was the first American concert tour after the death of Brian Jones.
Anybody who read her book knows that Ike made her perform this song in this dispecable manner. To this day Tina Turner hates this performance. She only performed this song, like this once. She never performed it like this again. I saw I live interview she gave sometime in the 80's here on YouTube and she says she can't even look at clips of this performance. She was disgusted by it. I am too. I can't even watch in it's entirety. It's just gross. Totally not Tina's style.

When she decided to leave, they were 'has beens". she had nothing to lose by leaving. if she had stayed, she'd still be flat broke. They had very little more than debt at the time.
