There is really 121 in Super Mario Galaxy. You have to get all 120 on Luigi and fight the last boss. Once you beat it, it says you unlocked the Grand Finale Galaxy. It's located on the Planet of Trials. I'M NOT LYING!!! :)

So mario can no longer punch and kick? Ah well... Also, I like how the penguins still copy Mario... Also how their is a giant black hawaian looking penguin... oh and are there any 100 coin stars? Also... what are purple coins and those one coins with the ? mark on them?

mario kicks basically when the enemy is "down", and he does it automatically. i dont know for sure, but i dont think there are 100 coin stars, the purple coins show up when a "purple comet" flies by, and you collect 100 of them to get a star. if that made sense at all. the ? coins just change something when you get it (like the blocks into the little star majigs or itll make a power-up appear or somthing like that)

No. There are some missions that are unlocked later in the game where you have to collect 100 purple coins though.
