  • thanks for sharing, my nephew is bugging me to teach him this song now I won't have to punish my ears just like the old times that I have to rewind and forward the cartridge just to figure out how to play a certain song... god bless you always!

  • @veiledlips Haha, I am happy yet again, being able to help and support another young pianist. Thanks for the great comment.

  • I am a complete begginer with the piano but I really want to learn this piece. I managed to learn everything my problem is being able to play it all together with both hands. What do you guys recommend?

  • @amazinggirl12 Tough giving advice, when we can't watch you play. BUT from my own experience, all I can tell you is: With patience on priority number one, play the piece SLOW SLOW SLOW and play a little bit right hand over and over again. Then what ever matches that part add the left hand, note by note, to it. To train your co-ordination, I will upload a video. Daily Piano Training. That should help you.

Please check back tomorrow! Thanks :D

  • A quick tip for today: Place your hands left and right on the C, left hand pinky plays C and up (thumb on G) Right hand has thumb on C and pinky on G. Play those 5 notes over and over again. First left then right, alternate again and again. Play them both together when you have the rhythm and volume right. Then play every 3rd note louder than the rest, one after another. If this don't make sense, please wait for the video.

  • @oBseSsIoNPC Thank you soo soo soo much ! I really want to learn this soo bad. Ill look out for ur video tomorrow !(: and again thanks , I'm sure I can solve my problem easily but it will take time , I just forsome reason don't feel secure putting it all together and playing it all at the same time :/

  • Why, tell me please, do you teach slowly and easily at the easier parts but then speed up so we can't follow at the harder parts?

  • @jesicaweaver Haha, because I am not a teacher, would be the best answer I can give you. The second answer would be, because I am a newbie on the piano. But there is hope! Because I made enough tutorials for this piece, that you will find the one that works for you. Check out the playlist and you will find what you need, I am sure. It is a learning process, to figure out what ppl want and need to see in which way and what manner. I am getting better at it btw ;)

  • i have this piano :D

  • @lccv1 It is a good one, I still play it once in a while. But the S90XS is so much "funner" :D

  • @oBseSsIoNPC Yeah :D

  • does anybody know the notes at 613???

  • @MrBobster02 I highly recommend you to watch my latest tutorial on this piece. I show EXACTLY which notes to hit. Check out the playlist and you should find it no problem. I already made some sheet music, but I am currently updating that. So this weekend it should be available for download from my website: zerotomusic[dot]com

Check back on that Sunday night...since everybody is going to be busy :P

    Thanks for watching!

  • Great tutorial but the second part of the intro, you need to delay the right hand by like 1/2

  • im learning the same type of canon in d as u are great this will be my tutorial other than my teacher teaching me ;)

PS im in grade 1 but doing grade 3 maybe next year

  • hey oBseSsIoNPC! Thx so much for this tutorial .. This is the first version of Canon I actually practiced and I was a total noob during that time.. I uploaded a video the same version as this one and I wanna share it with you .. =3

  • @darkcast0125 Thanks mate! Where is your video, I gonna check it out !?

  • nice job! other than your fingers being in the wrong places, and your tempo being a little fast and slow in different places, it was really good for someone playing the piano for only a few months! :)

  • @theblondebrunettebip hehe thx, yeah I did not focus on a relaxed and easy way of placing the fingers at first. But the more pieces I play and the more hours I spend on the piano, the more natural I place the fingers in the right places. Not that easy when nobody shows you how or what you are doing wrong xD

  • very good

  • nice:)

  • THANKS ALOT! ,,

  • @777vinson You are so very welcome my friend, glad you like it :D

  • I just started playing piano & you inspire me a lot, thanks for this video ! (:

  • @kntine Hey! That's great, thank you for this fantastic comment! And good luck, lots of patience and enjoy this fantastic instrument. Once a person can play even just half decent, it is such a great fun!

    All the best from me!

  • nice, but u played a little to fast for a tutorial.

  • Okay so ii`ve never played the piano in my lifee! & iiWaana start with this song. The ii pretty much remembered all of it but the only difficult part is putting it all together :/ like playing with both hands... how did you managed to do that ? : )

    Thanks!

  • Good job!

  • @SuperSmiIe Thanks mate :)

  • μπράβο φίλε πολύ ωραίος παίζεις αρκετά καλά....nice man u are good to teach bravooooooo

  • Good and Thans for Tutorial! :DD

  • Your having orgasm with that song.

  • This and your other videos on this piece are the best on Youtube. I've been studying that Mexican guy's video for a month..how the heck did you figure it out? And you're a beginner?! The timing was impossible to figure out, for me at least.

  • @mikedeisenberg Hehe, thank you so much, I take it you checked all the other vids :)

They all have a different level of difficulty for sure and you are right, it took me a long time and a lot of patience to get the timing figured out. I did use the sheet notes and watched the existing vids on youtube to get it right. And trust me, I played this piece at least fifty times until I got it decent and it is such an easy piece, really.

I have to upload the Moonlight sonata yet!

  • @oBseSsIoNPC Where did you find the sheet music for this? ivanmolina65 said he didn't have the music anymore. Yes I watched ivanmolina's and grasshopper3976's and just could not figure out how to combine the left and right had for the chorus part. I have faith that studying your special request video where you really break down 4 notes at a time, I'll be able to learn it. So thank you very much for doing that. Please post Moonlight sonata, that would be amazing to learn.

  • @mikedeisenberg I am using 8notes[dot]com a great site for all sorts of music. Best picks of all styles and you can watch the notes while playing and even adjust the speed it plays the tunes.

Check it out, it costs a few bucks but it is so worth it. You get rid of wasting time over finding sheet music for free. Best site out there imho (esp for learners).

  • Thank you so much for your lesson. It's very kind of you to have this video made for anyone who are interested in learning how to play this song. Your demonstraton is easy to understand. I'm still struggling trying to play the fast part. I will get it someday. It would be so nice to get notes of the song. Thank you once again.

  • @tikkytumbo I appreciate this great comment and it always cheers me up when ppl keep finding my tutorials and find them useful on top of that. To tell you the truth, it is toooooo cheap and easy to register on a nice site to get the notes: 8notes[dot]com

Plus you can listen to the music played, while a bar checks the notes and so you can visually and acoustically follow a piece.

Costs 20 bucks for the whole year.

    Check it out :)

  • sheet ?

  • you are amazing. I know some notes, and trying to learn this as well.

(You are welcome. Too bad I can't speak a word spanish, but I got the point.)

    :D

  • Thanks alot man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm also a noob on piano. I never played piano before, I did but not with 2 hands. Since I already know how to play with 2 hands, I already have the confidence to play another great song with 2 hands.

cause My first 2 hands song was 'kal ho naa ho' . that song opened my eyes to piano.

Like this song. And thanks for the tutorial.

    I got it now . 5*

  • Hey, you are very welcome, if you have any trouble, check out the updated version of this tutorial.

I wish you all the best and good luck my friend :)

  • Thanks. Im just practicing the chorus. :D

  • Could you please sent me the notes from 1:05 onwards - please?

I can read music, but i find it alot easier to have the letter notes when playing the piano - and that would be a great help!

Thank you - and great playing! 5 stars!

  • Thanks for the comment , rating and compliment :D

As a matter of fact, I was planning to update this video and add the notes into it (for

    "thegoodfellaa").

I did not even had time to play the other version yet, BUT I will be having time from now on.

Stay tuned and I will post a new Vid with notes tomorrow or on Wednesday this week.

Hope you check back on this!

  • cool man this is from a dutch rap group called ummm can't come on the name but great work

  • Cool ending... =]

  • Hey!

    Thanks! :D

  • a bit too fast i tried to write the notes down but coulddnt see coz of ur hands

  • Aww, I am sorry it is too fast, but I wanted to make the Vid below 10 minutes, plus I was hoping the step by step samples would do.

But I can see your point.

Let me know if you still need the notes, I guess I can write them up for ya.

I dont have the sheet myself, learning by doing right?

    take care bud!

  • its it ok if i can have the notes ill gve ur vid 5 stars thanks m8 :)

  • hehe, either way, I will try my best to get the notes to you.

Little busy atm so it might take a while :( .

I will just give you a plane overview of the notes, nothing fancy.

I guess you can utilize that and then play the melody by ear.

  • actully m8 it dosent matter :)

  • well very nice....you know your

    hands looks familiar....

its look like the tutor of canon in d

    IVAN MOLINA

  • Thanks kayeus08, compliment well taken.

BTW the link in the description points to Ivans tutorial.

He inspired me to play this song.

Although I find his hands are skinnier, like a typical pianist.

He was too fast for me and it took me a long time to find the right tunes, but I see now I didn't do much better, hehe.

Guess I was nervous and focused on the time for the video.

For the heck of it right?

    Take care!

I am a crud technician xD.
