  • Man some times when you think about it, it makes you cry. The barriers black boys face, resisting stereotypes, prejudice of teachers in schools who give up on us before trying. We need more positive role models. More people to believe in us, see us in a positive way.

  • im a black boy

  • if he just said ' hol tyt black people' he wouldnt have even had to make this tune lol. good tune still

  • I remember when this song came out on Channel U.. Gave everybody motivation and empowerment. This is the first time I have listened to it in 2-3 years, and it still sends a shiver down my spine!

  • Thumbs up if your still listening to this in 2012!

  • Thats Akala at 2:18 !

  • Y all the fucking pussyholes hating 4 man y cant you people let us niggas do r ting so what this the best i have ever heard man keep doing your ting

  • 2pac samples

  • THIS TRACK IS STILL BIG TO ME IN 2012

  • what an irresponsible track by someone who is in a position to have a positive influence on young black people but instead chooses to big up 'PDC' (PEEL DEM CREW). How is that the right thing to say? you want to stop black people getting involved in gangs then you don't go and glorify crews like PDC.

  • why is adam deacon in the video? hes not black hes morrocan. just because morrocos in africa

  • Amen.

  • He said Hangtight Lethal He Did Pow When He Bought In A Few Black People, This Song Was Made In 2007 andpow was made in 2011?

  • @lilkhanProductions

Pow was releaed in 2004 the 1 u mean is a 2011 version

  • All you lot going on about 'slaves' .. yeah maybe 100/200 years ago your relatives were slaves, not now, YOU have never been slaves except in the sense of being a slave to your gangster culture which promotes drugs, guns and treating women like shit, and you wonder why you end up in the melting pot.

  • Who Run da World .......Black Boiz for lyfe

  • I love this song, and would just like to dedicate this comment to those of you that are uneducated and don't know what racism is. Unless you have something wrong with your ears please tell me where Bashy is racist in this video. I think you will find he's not. He's not talking about white people in any sort of discriminating way, white people aren't even mentioned in the video. You CLEARLY don't understand what the term racism means read the dictionary. Brapp to all the black boys out there.

  • Stop having a fucking race war! we're all equal! This song can be made because it hasn't been easy for them, white people haven't been slaves, had gangs like KKK and BNP after then, they haven't been discrimated like blacks have just for being a different colour, big us Bashy for making this and stay safe black boys, i'm white and i love this song, keep your head high boys and carry on forward

  • @TheNormalAccount white people have been slaves still...

  • @HollowTipPresents When? Never

  • @TheNormalAccount of course white people have been slaves. Black people are not the only race to be slaves you know.

  • @meeeeeeeeeeee2012 back in the Roman times there was alot of white slaves. sometimes forced to fight other slaves to the death. Put up against crosses to be mutilated by lions and alot of other stuff. And just in case you dont know this fact Africans captured other Africans to give to whites as slaves so white people are not just to blame its not about slavery no more racism and slavery is old now.

  • Understand what can be done tho?? Dik ed...Dis song is so cheesy

  • The most motivational song I know :) "Understand it can be done"

  • Black Boys Black Boys

  • yep of course but only wish he was alive

  • @ItsAparrr no.....no he wouldnt have done.....now dont ever speak his name again you twat

  • this song is about empowering black boys who think all they will ever be is a gangster or a wanna be rapper its not about saying black is the best

    so everyone calm down !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow this is racist!!

  • @moorene Obviously too young to understand what the song is about... ;-)

  • English, STOP RAPPING! Raps and cadence are terrible and the beats are the fcking worst...

Only Brit to rock it well? Slick Rick the Ruler.

  • THE SEXY ! :O !

  • 303 people are white boys.

  • It was originally banned…as its “racist” – or about to be banned

    Its an awesome track

Not just black boys…but all ethnic minorities need to hear this…

Its something that transcends race of the minorities its universal…

  • big up sir trevor mcdonald

  • what is the name of the tune at the end?

  • At first 3 years ago when i first heard this song, i Laughed my ass off...but now that im older, i see the meaning to this song, great song with a great lesson!

    Props!

  • funny if there was a song white people the artist would be called racist.

  • @CrossTechTips yea cause not all white people had to struggle from the bottom of society... there's plenty songs about men in the struggle an about bein poor it's the same thing here cause all black people that live in britain had to struggle from the bottom so think for a minute before you wanna go runnin your cynical mouth kmt

  • @junkydoodle1 dont kiss your teeth at me you black cunt

  • old but gold, plenty albums sold and a true black boys life told, a true black boy bashy is, and his heart will never go cold

  • this is an inspiring song. stay black people

  • Black people dont hate on other races we're just naturally boastful! Interlectuals dont believe in god but they fear 'us' just the same

  • siiik bashy tune

  • when I see Defoe on the pitch, I'm like BRAPPPPPPPP! black boys up in this bitchhhh

When i see Emile Heskey on the pitch, I'm like FUCKKKKKKKK! Get this nigga of the pitchhhh

  • This was a BANGER!!!

  • theres bout 3 different versions of dis, i i remember it on channel u, 1 of ems got skinny man on it

  • @ad1ct SUCK SOME DICK U FUCKIN RETARD

  • @ad1ct but if your not happy about song and how famous it is den your just as bad

  • @georgiebest1 @@TheBibleIsLame the band I forgot to mention was called The Five Stairsteps.

  • @TheBibleIsLame Actually it's from an old Soul band of 5 kids that the Jackson 5 were based on. They did they original track called "ooh Child (Things are gonna get easier)" way back in 1970 before Pac was even born.

2Pac, and quite a few artists and producers have used the melody, interpolations of the melody and the actual words as well as the hook over the past 4 decades.

The track is here on Youtube if you wish to have a listen.

    Peace.

  • forever love this song

  • i might be white but this tune is awesome

  • @TheBibleIsLame

I know but what I mean is just cos bashy used it doesnt mean he copied pac. it was from some old tune before pac used it.

  • you are what is wrong with our country

  • copy cats! hate london. always mimicin american songs & lyrics.. the hook is from tupac keep your head up, ALRIGHT song song doee

  • @cjlewiscccc

The hook is from some old arse tune. Dont know what it was but I remember Furious Styles humming to it in Boyz n Hood before Keep Ya Head Up.

  • @cjlewiscccc in hip hop. sampling is one of the main things. in beats, lyrics.

  • imagine if this song was called white boys....

what controversy would that cause though...

  • Comment removed

  • @FreightlinerFred true u should see the remix part 4 skinnyman his a white man he killed it i dont think this song is racist but bashy just saw a vision and went for it i guess its just a song but what the song is really about is the media potraying black out of line so in my opion its a good song well done too this man for this song

  • @FreightlinerFred yeah but white boys arent the ones going round stabbing each other up so their isnt a problem its black boys who are fucked up and need some sort of inspiration

  • @TheSnoozeFox looooool so its just black boys isit .. well id prefer to be stabbing someone rater then be rapeing and touch kids and murder sprees thats seems to be full of white people .. so be careful what u say cuz now u prob feel like a dick now i pointed out the VAST majority of kiddy fiddles rapists and mass killers are white.. #caseclosed

  • @FlyAndNerdyLP yes but in proportion black guys are more likely to commit crimes than white people for example if there was the same amount of black people in england than white people then black people would commit way more crimes its how the system works

  • @FreightlinerFred someone did make a white boys version

  • @FreightlinerFred its not like that white people didnt suffer from years of slavey like black people did this song is like a black man sticking up for black boys that we can achieve things like anyone else and if every was equal no matter what colour eligion you are basically no racism there wouldnt be a need all this

    Great Song....

  • This song is not rascist, if white people are commenting on this saying 'its rascist' i feel sorry for you seriously you have issues, if you only have love for your own race then that only leaves space to discriminate and to discriminate only generates hate.

Like this if your against racism!

  • Not heard this song in years! Great to hear it again!!

  • Tunes not bad but its a little bit chessy ...

  • Thumbs up if your white and its still a tune..

  • KKK

  • I'm white and there is no music i love than rap/ hip hop. especially the uk scene

  • this song mean a lot to me thank you bashy

  • When I see Emile Heskey on the Pitch Im like FUCK SAKE!

  • it would be a different story if it was a white guy going on about how white people we're doing well though wunt it ?

  • @mattyowen2009 That sayings far to overated lool

  • @mattyowen2009 Bashy isn't saying that black people are doing well, he's saying that these examples of black men excelling are encouraging to black men who think that they'll fail because they'll be treated with racism.

  • Still listening to this 4 years on..

  • Akala cameo :O

  • Im a white guy, i love Bashys style and rhythm.......why is this song racist? because hes talking about black boys doing well for themselves? get a grip you silly little spunkbubbles....

    seriously though good for him!

    big up ENGLAND!!!

  • guys who think this is racist = its called "black boys" its gunna be bout black people stop wingin its a song for fucks sake

  • How do people find this racist? Just because you want to uplift your people doesn't mean you want to see others fall. Personally, I just find his accent annoying. But, he has a lot of skill. And an British Tupac is a pretty good approximation. Respect from the USA.

  • bashy sexyyyyy ;)

  • @oldgsirus

i didnt say he was tupac...did i? hes the perfect example of the uk industry blowin up.

  • im white and from ireland this song like in no way relates to anything happening to me but yet i love it and find it insperational :S especially when he says about winning the brits BRAAP ahha love it bashy<3

  • LOVE BASHY

  • LOVE Bashy. Plus it takes a real man to wear pink

  • he's so beautiful! i remember i was obsessed with this track when it first dropped.

listening to it after years, i still get goosebumps.

his words are more powerful than he could ever understand.

  • Woiii much respect for this tune! Representing us Black people that dont get recognized!

  • The bottom line is that niggers are limited in their thinking. They do not process thoughts in what the rest of us call "imagination". The nigger world is very, very real, tangible, and reactive. Tangible and reactive, only. It has to be. There are just too many variables for these apes to consider, otherwise. No invention occurs at this stage of evolution and, if it does, it's very crude.

    Stimulus-response... stimulus-response...

  • @addendum044 Really???? Your opinion and all but don't put stuff like that about black people..... if it weren't for black people the world would be different and not all black people are stupid and its not only black people who are stupid.

  • duz it matter what colour you are? nuffin shud even be said about our skin colour. nuff said

  • @fuckdanarmblud nah we need to repair a systematic racism that has black people oppressed they were riots recently. To combat racism you need to do more than be 'colourblind' you have see the race to know the history and therefore the reparations due

  • @oscarisnice i see what your sayin yeah but it dont happen like that, half the black people in england dont even know their own history. so shud we not just put skin colour aside and embrace everything good about each person? no matter their colour.

  • hey bashy its orphan from the game we played online , i dont see you on anymore , remember we were talkng about what we did holla back

  • im black and i personaly dont know whats wrong with us its just a skin colour man and tbh i love white people my gf white so yano its just for black history month:)

  • im white But i still rate bashy for this Tune big up all the back boys !

  • Shit relates to me hard

  • I'm white and this isn't racist at all! And there are more white racists anyways, so shut the fuck up. There's a message to it.

  • if a white person did a song called white boys you would get arrested

  • @tomfallsover actually they have

  • @tomfallsover Yeah but white people haven't been through the same as Black people. Black people used to have to be slaves. Just because they were black.

  • @tomfallsover thts because white people had always dominated and this song is about how the black people are doing well for themselves and have overcome it

  • bashy got the flow. keep it locked fam

  • this aint racist im white and this aint racist at all lol. trust me.bashy is just doing something for black history month and trying to reach young black boys that are swaying between the good and the bad due to growing up in bad areas. if anything people should applaud bashy trying to reach young black youths that dont have a role model. He is showing them there is a way out and that being positive has a bright future. i applaud bashy for this song.

  • Bashy i'm white and i feel this bro man i love this fucking beat

  • the thing about this video is that its going against stupid stereotypes because people seem to think that black people always do bad things and Bashys showing that there are loads of positive black contributors especially to the music industry!

so its not racist at all, hes just pointing out people that deserve to be noticed, im white and i love this song so i dunno why people think its offensive in any way at all /:

keep doing your thing Bashy! <3

  • thats racist man its only for blacks :/

  • i will never get over this song

  • Brings A Tear To My Eye ;') BUT When Is 'Black Girls' Coming Out? lols.
