I dunno. I've tried to solo this a couple of times on my Ret Pally. I can't get passed the first set of mobs, even with casting divine protection. My health drops like a stone. Granted I don't have all same buffs as ehkz does, but his health barely moves where mine drops like a stone. Something's not right.
When you are farming him for his pet you want too keep doing as many runs as possible until it drops, any buffs you may have just speed up the process. Its a simple fight. This video was one of my runs the first day of the festival I got my pet on the 8th or so run that day. Maybe I just got out of a AV BG. I posted this video too help people learn how too do the fight. Very nice you posting here a whole week later and with your own video showing off doing it self buffed, LEARN 2KEYBIND
I don't think he needed those full raid buffs, Fatherthyme... He's got like full health the whole video, and I don't think that those buffs change alot about that.
Oh yeah and btw, Mr. Ehkztasy, there's nothing wrong with being a clicker! >:O
Not sure if you are just trying too troll, but it is on heroic, If you look at his health its almost 230k. On normal mode its 175k. You can look it up on wowwiki. I would also like you too show me where you got this info that on heroic he "drops 4 backs, 1 non-combat pet and his weapon."

If you are going to solo this, be sure to dodge the ice spikes. I did this the the first time and failed because I wasn't dodging them
other than that, just save your mana/rune/energy/rage for when the crystal shows up.

I don't think that was on Heroic, because on Heroic he drops 4 backs, 1 non-combat pet and his weapon... Well done any way ^^
