Maybe because I am musically inclined, a "real" instrument is easier for me to play than guitar hero. I started off with real instruments and guitar hero was difficult for me to pick up at first. So for me, real guitar is easier, although I only play expert on guitar hero, I can still play slither better as easier on a real guitar. I guess for people who have never played an actual guitar and haven't learned the basic mechanics, guitar hero would appear to be easier.

Do you know what power chords are? Probably not. Power chords comprise the majority of "Slither" and are much easier to play than the finger movements that Guitar Hero requires. Plus, a real guitar is much more forgiving than Guitar Hero. If Guitar Hero is easier for you, you play too much video games, or you totally suck at the "real life" guitar (yes, it does exist).

dude you are totally wrong here, ive played the guitar for 10 years now and guitar hero is a fun way to gather some friends and listen to music, but in no way shape or form is GH harder that the real guitar. In GH you dont have to worry about tone quality, palm muting, pinch harmonics, none of the tech. stuff that is involved in the real guitar. i highly doubt that you have even picked up the real guitar

The chord progression isn't that hard... remembering the pattern is the hardest bit, but since the song is drop D, the chords are one finger stuff.
