  • Keep that flame going.

    (Hint at sample)

  • nina simone?

  • yo are u able to connect your mpd and a keyboard to use with reason at the same time?

  • yeah you can connect both midi controllers at the same time but I believe that they would play the same device/instrument that you have selected in reason

  • aj, is your stuff downloadable anywhere? i love listening to this shit

  • YO! Fire son!!

  • yo do you transport keys(play, stop, rec) work wit reason cause mine don't....that beat is fire!

  • yeah I use the transport keys. You just have to go to the akai website and download the transport control file for your MPD.

  • Hello, just wondering if you could tell me how to adjust the samples so the don't cut out the minute I lift my finger from the pad? Is it to do with the envelope adjustments? ADSR?? Thanks for your help and nice vid and beat.

  • If you are using the Dr Rex player in Reason, go to the Amp Envelope section in the rack for that device and slide the fader labeled "R" all the way up. That will have the sample play in its entirety without having to hold the button down.

  • also change the polyphony to 1 so that only one pad can play at at time (i.e. if pad is hit and then a second pad is it, the first sound cuts out)

  • I'd like to say thanks very much bro for your help. It now sounds just as I want it to. Thanks again, much appreciated!

    Peace

  • Good sampling!

  • That's a sick jam...bro.

  • quick question

i am going to get myself a akai mpd24 im sure of that

but im not sure weather 2 get

    FL_studio or reason with it

    any suggestions?

  • I've honestly never used FL, so I'd have to say go with Reason 4.0. As far as the MPD is concerned go with the MPD32 if you can spend an extra $100. Its supposed to come with real MPC pads. Best of luck

  • thanks a lot i appricate it

  • The MPD24 pads are real MPC pads it just doesn't have note repeat like the MPD32, just wanted to clear that up, but I agree if you can afford to spend the extra $100 then cop an MPD32, I hate that the bastards put out a new MPD32 after the MPD24 had just come out

  • now thassa beat, got dammitt!!!

  • thanks, I should be posting more in the near future

  • Thats dope

  • thanks!

  • thanks man

  • yeah I think I had to do the same thing when I first set up my MPD 24. I think I went to the following site to get the drivers

    asio4alldotcom

  • Sounds good :D Do you have configure mmc buttons in reason 3.0 ???

  • there is a way to do it but I think you need to download the MPD24 drivers from the Akai website in order to do so. I personally just use the mouse to start recording.

  • fresh

  • yeah sounds really good.

what´s the name of the sample

  • Keeper of the flame by Nina Simone

  • Really good. Like I said, I love this kind of music.

  • thanks

  • Sounds good
