  • I 've seen him on phoenix AZ in1981'.

It was great show , my best memory.

    thanks a lot for posting.

  • My favorite guitarist! Just great!

  • Maestro hackett!!!!

  • Does anyone know whether he's playing a steel string or classical? :P

  • @tehknysz17 it's a classical guitar, nylon string. You can tell by looking at the bridge and the guitar headstock .

  • @tehknysz17 Judging from the headstock/tuning pegs I would say classical. When the capstans that wind the strings are down in those 2 carved horizontal slots on the headstock it's a classical. Steel string capstans usually stick out perpendicularly from the plane of the headstock as electric gits. I think you can put steel strings on a classical but from my experience it makes them murderous to play. Also, it sounds like he's using gut or nylon strings which would b a classical.

  • @samuelgwhyte up there with don felder, another underrated guitarist

  • I love how he knows he's being illegally recorded

  • @guitarplayer30001 The audience was actually allowed to record parts of this show, surprisingly yes, I checked that :)

  • looking forward to hear him play Phoenix Flown live, truly cannot wait, been listening to it again and again, the whole album "Beyond the Shrouded Horizon" is filled with amazing tunes, love it!

  • I love it ! Is the opener from "Soupers ready" from the album "Foxtrott "never forget this time.I was 13 years old and I hearded this album every day I grow up with this kind of music.Good times !!

  • GREAT VIEW... The best seat in the house...

  • there are no words.......

  • Bach cover, great!

  • @TheDarkSideOfMusic This is not Bach.

  • @musicxMCRxvamp This song starts with the central idea of the prelude from Bach's first cello suite and then develops its own piece.

  • Wish he played this when I saw him!

  • This was shot only a year ago...Hackett looks great...I wish I could say the same thing for Steve Howe...they are both my guitar heros. Thanks for posting this video.

  • @AtheistSongs

He doesn't look that much different from the 1990 Horizons video.....!

  • @AtheistSongs Steve Howe may look old and skinny but he can still play AMAZINGLY WELL !!! I

  • talk bout living in the past loser

  • @ieatsick Wrong group. Living In The Past was Jethro Tull. :p

  • @ieatsick So if listen to Bach or Beethoven is that being a loser too? Both artist'smusic transend time, the fact that one is still alive and able to perform his own compositions does not a loser make...I believe the term you are looking for is 'living ledgend' Sorry you stumbled across this video...Lady Gaga and Common are that way>>>>>>>

  • Very very good!!!!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • So good

  • Supper's Ready!!!!
