John Barrowman. The man who appeared on Doctor Who for FOUR episodes and people loved him so much they made a spin-off about him, which is amazing enough: I can't believe he's such a great singer TOO. My God, this man can do anything.

Apparently this is his Dad's favourite song(he sang this at a concert of his I went to last year in York and that's what he told the audience)so clearly he sings this so beautifully because he is a true family boy. It's done beautifully live, you can't imagine.

...It greatly annoys me that in the description. the song is credited to Mama Mia. All of the songs from Mama Mia were originally by ABBA and were released in the 70's. Sorry, I just grew up listening to them.

@FancyFancyName I am well aware that The Winner Takes it All is by ABBA. You are not the only one who grew up listening to them. However since the album was an album of show tunes, that is why I credited it to the play Mamma Mia.

i love this guy!!! he's such a talented and kind hearted man and he's my hero. he cheers me up when im down and i love him to pieces!! i would give my savings to meet him i'd cry but it would be happy tears! i loves him loads and i always will do!

Really not to be rude, I love the barrowman, but not sucha fan of his singing voice, He's not bad, but it sounds the same as his talking voice, i wish he wasn't using the fake accent, he might sound a little better, feel free to disagree with me of correct me, just not in love with it :)

@nivar I agree with you that it needs more desperate feelings. But when John sings it it sounds more like he's given up on the love that he sings about. So it feels like two different stages of the abandoned lovers feelings.
