When I first started following United at the end of Ron Atkinsons reign, Liverpool, Arsenal Forest and Everton were the top dogs and we all thought Fergie wasn,t up to much. How wrong were we. Since 86 we have been spoiled with great players but for a team to produce youth of the calibre of Giggs the Nevilles, Butt, Beckham and Paul Scholes on top of the players we already had is a phenomenon. You know whats funny in 2008 Manchester United were the best team in the world because we had an incredible team.
