I honestly think its a step in the right direction. really, this game is 2nd only to Bleach Crusaders or w/e for Wii when it comes down to how Bleach is. With this kind of graphics, it easily imitates the anime-style in its own way like Naruto does and DBZ does. I sure hope to God, I HOPE TO GOD that they make a beat em up game for Bleach like Ultimate Ninja Storm or Raging Blast or hell, revert back to Crusaders.

It isnt just based off of the movie thats just the preview, its mission based which seems to follow the story and it seems to be more then just pressing the block button from what ive seen, hopefully will have a decent block/parry setup so that it isnt repetitive. Naruto UNS2 had a horrible fighting engine so this could very well be just as deep from a fighting perspective with more replay since you can level up your character. im really looking forward to it honestly ^_^

@exiledpain6 There are already screenshots of Points from the arrancar storyarc including aizen vs ichigo final stage, the fact that the moviebased mission is the trailer is a goodsign if anything means alot of missions not just a quick glance of the story. theres obviously transformation powerups and special attacks if u check the video's which should put it around same depth as broken UNS2, my main worry is FPS drops in final version hopefully it gets fixed up and hopefully multiplayer :)

I feel u Zobe70. For the psp the "heat the soul" series was amazing. Their like on Bleach heat the soul 7 or 8 now. It was such a success. They should have took some thing from that and made a remake for consoles. Online play too.

It doesn't have to be like Ninja storm though. Ninja storm looks good, but I think it's missing alot gameplay wise. Keep the gameplay just like heat the soul with combos, combo link to specials, sword clash's, and burst too.

Let me add something you said you only play RPG's right. Well if you play games like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, & Final Fantasy versus 13 those are also BTW Hack & Slashers. So don't start dogging on Hack & Slash games. There alot of good ones out there that I'm guessing you probably play that have RPG elements. My favorite Hack & Slasher is Kingdom Hearts though.

Naruto UNS2 suck's ass. I like DB Raging Blast 2 way more. The only to things Naruto UNS2 has going for it is the graphic & story mode other then that it suck's. Heck I much rather play Dynasty Warriors over Naruto suck my left buttcheek storm 2. Seriously after I beat UNS2 I traded it in for a true fighter like Tekken 6. I dont know if you ever played Dragonball z games, but the newest one they tried to add a lot of detail, and it kind of killed the anime theme. Its Bleach, so you cant expect to much original. Just remakes of games already made but bleach style.

@AzureDarkGod I'd say God of War was a very different kind of fighter in that aspect. It wasn't derived from anything, so they could do whatever they want, but I think people are coming to expect something more from Bleach since the anime is so big and precise on one-on-one combat.

I do wonder what is that apparel Ichigo is wearing in the demo..? the one where he's covered with hollow masks.... I don't think I remember seeing that in the anime

@ReducedToAsh Oh, I can tell you that: It's Skull-Clad Ichigo, a version of our favourite protagonist that only appears in the fourth Bleach movie, the Hell Verse. The entire demo is happens in Hell, where the movie takes place and the last guy you fight, called Kokuto, is actually the "big" bad of the movie XD

Dynasty Warriors, Omnimusha, Ninja Gaiden Sigma,etc. and how could you Say the Broly fight was Weak man? I'm looking at the demo of this game and it already looks weird. Ichigo is half human half jack skeleton-like. I don't mind the idea that you would get to walk around and fight a bunch of hollows at the same time, but it looks like a hack n slash game. Wait a minute before flaming things... You've seen one and only one demo gameplay, of a game that still is in development... The final version of the game can be much better than what we've seen right now... I wanted and still want a fighter, I wish that the final version of this game has a great VS Mode seemed with the Bleach Blade Battlers 2nd! ;) Do you know why I still believe that is possible, because the game is still in development and the number of players hasn't been decided yet! XD

This demo was made mostly to promote the Bleach Movie 4: Hell Chapter, it isn't a demo to promote the final version of the game yet, it's just a glimpse of how it can turn out! The game hasn't a specific release date yet, just 2011 (is still in development)! Bleach anime and manga has good battles, so I guess that the battle system might turn out to be fun in the final version of the game, because of the boss fights (Aizen, Gin, Tousen and so on...)! My guess only, of course! XD

It looks like the Dynasty Warriors games... Lots of enemies lots of pressing X. I hate hack and slashers like that. But stuff like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta are ok because they have a challenge and aren't just shallow...tap X and win type games.
