I read that book.

I thought the main character was a brat. And I hated the constant descriptions of how much black she was wearing. It's like "I put on my black shirt, black leather skirt, black tights and black combat boots. Then I put on my black lipstick and covered my eyes with black eyeliner. I grabbed my black bag and ran out the door."

I agree with you though. It was a cute read.

I enjoy the occasional teen romance, just for fun xD

Oh God No Melina, No...You like Vampire Kisses? THIS IS THE WORST FUCKING SERIES RIGHT BEHIND TWILIGHT AND THE HOUSE OF NIGHT SERIES!

The main character is STUPID to say the very least, being the preppiest piece of disgrace I've ever seen to anything remotely Goth, shallow to the fucking core, immature, un-funny, un-witty, and STUPID. This series even failed as a manga.

I'm halfway through the second book, and I won't lie when I say that I like VK more than Twilight. However, IMO, VK still isn't that great of a series (so far). It still has that purple prose problem (the heavy use of description maybe wouldn't be described as PP, but it still gets annoying), and whenever Raven talks about her "goth-ness" it reminds me of the god-awful Raven from that dreaded My Immortal fanfic. But, it is cute, and the characters are way more likeable. And I like Alexander. ^_^

Though I do admit, another thing that bugged me was how fast they came onto each other when the had a formal meeting. Alas, I'm not through the series yet, so, until then.

I have watched some of your videos and have to say all teen novels or new novels for that matter are a rip off. No one has an original thought... even you and I for that matter. It all been done before. So until you have an award winning novel or an original thought that is published I would not bash other novelist.

VK is a bit too cliche for my liking, but nonetheless Jagger is quite the interesting character. Raven annoys me with her constant "gofficness."

I like Vampire Kisses too. I don't think it's OMG GREAT but it's a cute series and unlike Meyer, Schreiber has a fun voice, her dialogue is witty and her characters...while they may be a bit cliche (not nearly as cliche is in Twilight mind you!), are very well rounded and likable for everything besides how 'hot' they are. Raven is a strong character and because of her I'm not ashamed to admit I like the series XD

I liked these books too. It was very cute romance nothing too dramtic. A bit of too much "goth" style it gets a little annoying but, I liked this book very much. The manga is good too. :D
