The reason the front brake is so important is bc that is your main stopping power. I use my front brake more then the rear. Simple fact is the faster you go the faster you need to slow down. Also the front helps a lot riding indoors. Most people don't know how close the landing are to the corners, from the stands it looks further than it actually is.
