As far as an orchestral arrangement of a hard rockin' song goes, this was very tastefully arranged! However, that feeling I get when the chorus is about to drop just isn't there in this performance. The dynamic is practically unmoving throughout the entire performance. I guess you can't compare an orchestra to the punch of a riff, at least for this song :P They're on completely different levels.
However, if this would've been the opening to the original song, I feel that could've worked somehow.

The bottom line is, if they had to choose between someone covering a song in a DIFFERENT style or someone spewing HATE in THEIR name and further binding them to it as if it were no doubt their opinion...I'd say they'd likely rather listen to the cover than to some precocious youth rambling about assumptions...but that's my opinion and not verse...because I don't think for a moment that I speak for ANYONE.
