This hilti is a friend of mine's and it's the only reason I was using this one. Drilling into concrete (and your success) depends a lot on the density of the concrete (porous or if it contains lots of rocks). Hilti's don't do well in rock but cut plain conventional concrete pretty good. A new drill bit helps too.
All the sparky's where I used to work use hilti's to mount small brackets and control boxes and I borowed one to drill a few holes in a concret floor, 18mm holes and I could not believe how pathetic they are at drilling anything big and solid I thought the machine was faulty but have since learnt that they are all like that. Great fasteners but way way overated drills.
