  • Wtf if you a screaming your head of them what should we do

  • "It is good to look at us, because we're used to it, we're on the airplane all the time. And we can probably calm you down, and see how relaxed we are. And if we begin to scream, you should scream as well. So, please do look for us."

  • @mphello you clearly know nothing about airplanes. Please take your ignorance somewhere else.

  • To all those preaching about how "safe" flying is -

funny how it doesn't seem to be such a serious matter when one's car stalls

    - that's happened 2x for me - once in the middle of a major highway - I pulled off to the side in time - or when a boat stalls, yet when an airplane stalls, suddenly it's so "serious". Huh - why IS that?

  • @mphello - When a car stalls, the engine stops working. When an aircraft stalls, it has nothing to do with the engines - the wings stop working, and the aircraft stops flying.

BTW - you are WAY more likely to be killed in a car crash than an air disaster, especially if your car stalls in the middle of a major highway.

  • Look at the crew they'll keep you calm, don't look at the Pilots, they'll be in the cabin, Muttering "OMG" or "Gee this ain't good."

  • The only way to calm me down during turbelence is a nice blow job from the flight attendant.

  • why is it that whenever people feel the slightest bump on an airplane they automatically think that its going to blow up or the wings will fall off? It's just air currents, people!

  • Can we please have young, attractive female flight attendants again?

  • WTF IS THIS ..... uh ..... Uh.....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM GOING TO DIE.... GET THE PARACHUTES!

I think thats what runs through most peoples minds during turbulence.

  • If they serving drinks, I know it isn't that bad....

  • last year on a transatlantic lufthansa flight, we had REALLY bad turbulence over Nova Scotia. so bad so , one of the pilots was literally walking really fast ( almost running ) on the aisles, asking people to fasten their seat belts, because " this is not a normal flight". He sounded really panicked. i still dont know what caused that half hour of severe turbulence.

  • @Luciferia2l8 Probably because the pilot was not at the controls and running down the aisle.

  • @vincevega0 lol could be

  • Haha! "BUMPS" lol

  • i'm an air hostess and turbulence makes me sick - don't look at me, i'll be pale running towards the bathroom.

  • RBLeggs@ HAHAHAHAHA WTF!

  • i was on a plane with such severe turbulence, the flight attendant was crying!!! Not long after she started crying, we heard a mechanical voice saying, 'pull up, pull up - terrain, terrain! Then this 'WHOOP' sound...heard it say that twice then next thing we know, we're pulling G's! I HATE flying now!

  • @RBLeggs the only thing worse than that would have been to hear "stall" "stall". The pilot did the right thing by acting quickly but they probably had to report the incident.

  • @RBLeggs wow and i thought we had bad turbulence sht!

  • Turbulences, i don´t like them, i hate travelling by plane, i had a really bad experience, like four hours of constant turbulences, i had to put my seat belt every five minutes, i thought it was the end, traumatic flight.

  • I was in turbulence one time, they weren't bad. They were subtle and as we started our decent the plane dropped for a couple of seconds and then we stopped, I was scared and everyone on the plane screamed.

  • Many of you think you have seen and experienced Turbulence.

    You have not.

You probably don't have a clue.

You have felt some bumps, some shaking and possibly heard the plane make some noises.

Heh...if you ever fly in Real Turbulence you won't want to talk about it....not ever.

You will want to forget it as quickly as possible so you can fly again.

Real turbulence is FAR different from what most of you have experienced.

Trust me on this or not, I don't care.

  • @hammerogod I'm a pilot and turbulence is not bad at all...It can be dangerous however for pax but usually it's no big deal.

  • @999lifegoes

Any turbulence is tricky when they are in the aisles.

The elderly ( which almost includes me...dammit ) are at risk from even light fluctuations in attitude and/or altitude.

If in doubt have the crew put 'em in on the asses in the belts.

    But.

I was saying that what most people call severe turbulence is not severe.

I was talking about the kind of turbulence that sends you on sudden 2500+ fpm excursions and 40°+ half-rolls and puts the overhead storage on the deck.

    Been there.

  • Flight from Florida to Newark, NJ 26 years ago. 45 minutes of extreme turbulence. Stewardesses were practically weeping...some praying as well, I believe.

  • The worst part about turbulence is the seat belt signs

  • We flew through a line of tornadoes in a DC-9 once that I was VERY afraid was going to rip our airplane to shreds! Only flight in my life where I headed straight for the bar on landing, and had a double shot! But we survived it, and if we could survive THAT kind of horrible turbulence, then I figure we can survive ANY turbulence. I no longer worry about it in the slightest. So long as it doesn't spill my drink, I'm fine with it.

  • Flight attendants qualify by acting calm with a gun to their head, a fire lit under their ass and a dog gnawing on their neck.

If something goes wrong on the plane they are the last person to check with, or at all. Once the plane is airborne just shut the fuck up there's nothing you can do now.

  • I remember that on my third flight I first experianced turbulence and I heard the stewardesses laughing and chatting in the backround and I realised how normal it was

  • Is that what they said to the passangers of flight 11? "calm down, everything will be ok,we're just going to crash into the twin towers".I don't take anything at face value of a dumb stewardess.

  • @fadethetrade is it really that serious? obviously she's talking about TURBULENCE not a death situation. Damn.

  • @America2France Their protocol is the same damn thing whether it's turbulence or a grave situation.

  • When the pilot comes over the pa and says everything is ok We had a few alarms going of up front, but we found the fuse and removed it now no alarms.

  • @mjayperry that is friggin hilarious!!

  • She is one proper ugly pig.

  • they do, i couldnt do what they do i hate it i feel sick on it sometimes i cant eat nothing when im on a plane, i get looked at weid cause i dont want food as i know i might throw it up, only one one occassion i used a throw up bag.

  • no flight attendant has any clue about flying, turbulences etc.. looking at their faces will not tell you anything.. so simple.

  • lol if the flight attendant is scarred your fucked

  • You know you are in trouble when the Flight Attendant starts praying on a Rosary !

  • This is exactly what I do. I'm worried, I look straight at them and there they are making coffee, like I'm in their kitchen at home.!!! Then I think "I'm such a dickhead!" Which is true on so many levels.

  • If you ever see a flight attendent squirm, you're in trouble.

  • It's not the turbulence...it's the snakes.

  • @davidls11 ROFL!

  • Landed at Glasgow airport in a high crosswind a couple of years, flight attendant was absolutely shitting herself.

  • Screw that! I was in a ton of 'bumps' the other day, then the damn plane got hit by lightning, a loud pop and a flash on the wing, flight attendant was as freaked as the rest of us for a min, bitch turned ghost white.

  • @john6271 In a plane you are in a Faraday cage, then no risk with lightnings...

  • @AirCalv 41 people already think your a pussy :) thumbs upski! :)

  • On a turbulent flight, one attendant hadn't managed to reach her seat in the back before she was thrown down to the floor. Another attendant, seeing that, yelled to the passengers near her to grab her and hold onto her before she "went flying". That gave me a bit of fear.

  • I knew something was wrong when the Pilot came sat next to me and asked for a cuddle!

  • i knew somthing was wrong when we hit an electrical storm and i saw the stewardesses strapping them selves in and praying

  • ..absolutely thrue...!!!!this is making me calm.xxx

  • Do they look calm when the plane is going down?

  • @loueriv Ya, they look calm but their shittin their pants at the same time!

  • @loueriv Are you afraid of going down? Pussy.

  • @sonicfan7 Only if she's ugly.

  • I like her, she's a sweetie! And she's probably soothe my fears. I might be a 39 year old man that used to enjoy turbulence, but I've grown to be scared of it and hate it as I got older lol.

  • If the flight attendant is freaking out, there might be a problem lol

  • Thanks for the advice...I've got flying anxiety and turbulence scares the crap outta me man!

  • @bengtig77 stupid fucking shit pussy.

  • @AARGENS13 fuck you... u rotten ass piece of garbage!!!

  • @bengtig77 Don't mind, him he's a very insecure child, he's obviously not afraid of anything lol?

  • @AARGENS13 stfu mr. bad ass kid stfu everyones different, now go back to getting fucked in the ass by your pedophile uncle. So your not afraid of anything? what about bullets flying past your head grow some balls kid.

  • Im flying from kansas to san fran friday and I hate turbulence. there is a 30% chance for bad weather but we are flying in the morning. Any tips and do you think I will be alright?

  • wrong because when I flew from Detroit to London and we hit some turbulence over the Atlantic, the flight attendant I looked at looked scared than a mutha*****. Maybe she was new or something.

  • BULLSHIT !!! i was on a flight coming home from tunisia flying over the french alps and the turbulence was just immense u could see the fear in the flight attends eyes

  • @TurbulentG

Maby she was only new to the job!!

  • @Locker10a yeah that might be true

  • I've had turbulence so bad that not only was it up and down but side to side and the overheads came open with stuff pouring out. I was alone and terrified. Got up and glued myself to some calm looking stranger. Thank GOD for that wonderful, old man!

  • The flight that turned me against flying...we had REALLY bad turbulence and everyone on the plane was screaming and holding hands. The pilot came over and told the flight attendants to also take their seats and buckle in. They did, and the one female attendant kept screaming too. I shit you not. I really thought we were going to crash.

  • she just whats you to look at her!!!

  • @1matthew3354 lmao probably

  • Im so scared of flying i dont take off my belt during the whole flight... i dont even go to the toilet! i hold it in until we land haha

  • @zvintoXD Im the exact same I know il be fine but im still a bit oh god!ha so ur not the only one

  • @wallywalm i had i flight from frankfurt to singapore last week... 12 hours... my god never again haha

  • @zvintoXD ya poor thing 12 hours my friend wants me to go to Australia...Im from Ireland that would be a long flight too....don't know if I could do it they would have to knock me out

  • @wallywalm to austraila it would be atleast 17 hours of flytime... but i have a tip for long trips hehe just go to your docktor and ask for some meds haha :)

  • I flew from uk to usa and my arms well ached. got a plane on the way back.

  • i do not take flying advice from lizard woman

  • @cjellwood lol lizard woman!

  • i totally agree with her i was flying to the phillipines from ireland last summer and flying from doho to manila was a fuckin nightmare for turbulance but i realised the attendant staff where calm ...BUT... when i seem them panicing ..LET THE BUM NUGGETS FLOW

  • A fear of flying is simply irrational, I think that's really the first step to getting over it. Realizing that you have no reason to be afraid makes it easier to not be afraid! When I take up passengers who are nervous I always tell them "Don't worry, the worst is over, you survived the drive to the airport!"

  • If your going through a bad patch and you look around to see the captain running up and down the isle shouting"we're gunna crash, we"re gunna crash" take another look at the stewardess, now what is she doing?

  • Comment removed

  • attendants scream in sever cases

  • lol when i saw the flight attendants so calm i was like.... wtf im such a pussy

  • @AirCalv

    LOL

  • @AirCalv

LMAO! I am the BIGGEST chicken when flying!

  • @funshipM174 Thanks!! Feel all alone when I fly and I'm SUCH A CHICKEN when I fly and my wife and I leave for Maui on the 7th....HELP ME,,,,Thanks again for making me feel better!

  • One of the best comments I have read on youtube...ever. I am the same way, every flight.

  • @AirCalv

    hahahahahhahahaha

u made my day man i'm telling ya!!!!

bless u! lol thet was the best comment ever!!!!!!

  • it does help yeah! I will become a pilot later so... I'll even have an cool head when all the engines fail and were gliding ; )

  • @AirCalv Well that's not really being a pussy cause the flight attendants are used to it. but you still probably are a pussy cause u cant fight for ur life and ur a weak little whimpy pussy, or a girl with no muscles. weakline stfu

  • @manishkyle I have flown multiple times, but recently developed a fear of flying. A lot can be linked to anxiety stemming from life changes outside the plane. While it is true that driving a car is much more dangerous statistically, I think many people still feel a sense of control over their fate while driving. In a plane, control is lost. A bird, patch of ice, sudden gust of wind, change in weather conditions, etc. uncontrollable circumstances can end your life.

  • @BushidoCode72 lol being scared of flying? are u 5 by any chance? Or are u just a pussy?

  • @AirCalv you're funny man, thanx for the laugh.

  • @AirCalv hahahahhaha

  • When u in ur late 30s early 40s i bet u wont b remotly attractive either !!!

  • surrounded by fuckwads....honey; you ARE a fuckwad. shame you

    got it back-wad :p

  • If something seems to go wrong, look at the stewardesses : if they're worried you should be worried too!

  • so true

  • @m1r3o haha exactly xD

  • @m1r3o Ya!! isnt that the truth! HaHaha.

  • @m1r3o Or if one of us at the front comes running out of the flight deck screaming you know to be shitting yourself.

  • Looking at you for anything would scare the crap out of me! Evil eyes!

  • turbulence is wind that shakes the wings that shakes the cabin since the wings are spread out.

  • Turbulance is not wind hitting the wings, yes severe wind shear may cause turbulance. In this case clear air tubulance are pockets of air masses that the airplane flies through, difference in density etc, clouds and thermal pockets may also cause turbulance, however relative wind has nothing to do with turbulance.

  • i didn't say what tubulance is i said how it moves the plane.

  • American Airlines.

  • what airline was that on?

  • The only thing that would calm me down through turbulence is to have a parachute under the seat instead of a life jacket.

  • LooL yah they did get it backwards with that didnt they maybe a life jacket/parachute combo would work.

  • OMG . EVERY time i go on a plane i think that! haha . thy really should have parachutes (even if we dont know how to use em) it could save some peoples lives!

  • How cud it ??? that is so stoopid god do u even know the first thing about planes?

  • @happymana Yea I'm sure you'd be real calm when your ear drums blow up and you can't breathe at 30 thousand feet....

  • being a flight attendant is probaly the easiest job in the world. who doesn't think turbulence is fun anyway i love turbelunce

  • dude ur fucking stupide fuck man turbelunce isn' fun ur not a flight attendant look at peoples face when it happens there face is like i don't wanna die but yeah but its not fun

  • i have probaly flown on more planes than most of them having turbelence a 2 of them with severe turbulence i don't think about if the plane is gonna crash i find it like a rollercoaster and it is really fun.

  • @rggfgjerjh Your an ignorant idiot

  • @MrCrazyfucker123 which one am i, ignorant is different from being an idiot

  • statistics say that turbulence is not dangerous at all cause the piolets have total control of the aircraft...it's just annoying :)

  • really?

  • yeah you have nothing to worry about just sit back and enjoy :)

  • You are right ! :) Only severe turbulence canno t be controlled

  • unless it's a microburst.

  • flight attendants know jst the same as u if anythin gos wrong they dnt know they aint trained pilots ........

  • Yes they do they are briefet by the pilots and are given Info passengers are not !!! + they are trained in all aspects of flight and emergencies

  • Yeah, no kidding. In that case I think the flight attendants would shit themselves too.

  • Plus, you can tell when the Turbulence is gonna be really bad, because the flight attendants have to sit down and put there seatbelts on.

  • yeah i don't like it when they do it!! lol i get nervous!

  • When I fly and hear the pilot announcements and hearing how calm of voice he sounds ...that is very reassuring. Perhaps during turbulence we could hear what is going on in cockpit and there would be millions of people beginning to not have a fear of flying or panic/anxiety. Of course not a webcam or everyone would be petrified the moment seeing the plane on autopilot.

  • Look, there is the row 13, so It's not an American aircraft (Boeing or MD). Looks more like an Airbus

  • excuse me, but what is ur problem? what do you mean? we do our best to do our job right. it is a hard and demanding job.

  • wtf are you talking about

  • So, what do your passengers do when you don't look calm? Are you open to viewing during a flight?

  • Well Balboa62, if you were on my plane I'd give you the boot.... HA!! HAAAAAAA!!!!

  • hah shes right, im a pilot and i take people flying, and when they get nervous they look at me and see my reaction and if i look calm than they have no reason to be alarmed.

  • "Flight Attendant im scared of this turbulence any help"

    "that will be 50 bucks"

  • hmmm.. that looks like ryanair =)

  • Comment removed

  • yes I know but you have pay for everything @ ryanair, but a ticket is just 10 euros so that doesn't matter =)

  • it's not Ryanair aircraft

  • Today, you probably have to pay an extra charge to "look" at the flight attendants

  • One more thing.

When a F/A or the Captain comes over the PA and says,"The Flight Attendants will remain seated for their own safety during the turbulance.".....DON'T RING YOUR DAMN CALL-BELL UNLESS IT IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY!" I will not risk my life to get you a bottle of water. Dumb-Ass!

  • Thanks I will definitley ring the call bell from now on haha didn't know that!

  • hahahaha ya man

  • Flight attendant for 43 years. If you or your KIDS are not strapped-in for the entire flight, you are a dumb-ass.

  • I was a PanAm/Delta F/A for 43 years. Are you kidding? Relaxed? During turbulence? Just praying not to land on 34B after hitting the ceiling. But, wait...then we might be eligible for disability !! Which might be slightly better than pension.

  • loved the website captain! Helped out alot, cant thank you enough

  • She already looked nervous her damn self. LMAO.

  • we will probably help you out, probably!? i wonder if she means if the planes not actually about to crash and it is just a little bumpy air then theyl help ahhh i c now.

  • "Stewardess, will you please help me?"

    "Nope"

  • Nice of you to be filming that next row 13 on a plane, i thought they didnt include row 13 as a superstition?

  • women should talk like that all the time

not trying to insult women, but that's just hot

  • ...as opposed to an abnormal comment?

  • she doesnt fill me with confidence.... and I'm a F/A!!

  • f/a? you mean faa?

  • FAA?? flight attendant attendant?? :D

    FAA is something else...

  • i thought he meant somethnig else lol

  • lol, I'm a F/A, and the job kinda means you do sweet f/a for a lot of the time!! heehee...

  • i hate how the reply is just like making a normal comment

  • im a male f/a for two months now ,, im 20 years old and i work for avianca airlines.... =] i love my job

  • I dont think there is any difference if its turbulence..everyone is still looking at the flight attendants :p

  • Thats EastJet, some of their cabin crews are composed entirely of 18-20 year olds who obviously don't posses the calmness and maturity to handle an emergency situation. If you fly a real airline things would be handled much better. =]

  • Always follow the crews instructions & watch the safety brief as well.

Keep your belt on when ever you are seated is my advice, to guard against CAT (Clear Air Turbulence),I have been glad of that on a few occaisions!

  • wow omg my mom wont die dude you serously gotta stop this shit

  • not really

  • some of the younger ones are scary to work with. apart from the safety aspect, i got asked if you serve ice with beer (!), and i stopped another opening a bottle of champers with a cork screw!!! She coulda lost an eye!

  • lol

    that's funny though

  • oh....nothing.....you'd have to be a Flight Attendant to find the hidden humor in my last statement...Don't worry, you can still trust your Flight Attendants to preform their duties in an emergency situation...and that's no joke...Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable...

  • In and emergency situation, I wouldn't care if the flight attendant performed their duties. All i know is that i'd open that door and jump out.

  • Well, I hope if you were over the wing..you would make sure there was no fire..That's how 4o people died back in 1987...737 in London struck gas-truck..passengers panic..opened ovr-wing hatches w/out looking out and fire engulfed the cabin..At the doors. Flight Attendants will be there before ANY passenger is...we can be out of our jumpseats, open door closest to us..then run across and open the door on the oposite side in 7 to 8 seconds!!

  • Wow! Supermen!

  • lol..not really...we just know how to get out of our jumpseat harness really fast....But it's funny..the passengers that go out of their way to act like they are ignoring the Flight Attendants are usally the FIRST to PANIC...Like the bussiness man that made it a point to say he did not need to listen to the demo..and when we lost one of our engines about 20 minutes after takeoff..he started to panic and then passed out...We got him revived w/ oxygen and told him to try to take it easy...
